Traktor Dj and kontrol s2 mk 2 (ios7 fix)

We'll after a very very long wait what exactly are NI playing at, a update just released which has sorted one or two niggles out but I am so disappointed and quite honestly on behalf of all ios7 users why is it we are still waiting for the biggest problem of all to be fixed. So many of us have gone the iPad air route or the update to ios7 and the incompatibility is just beyond me that we still wait for now another update.
Quite simply this is the facts, so many users that don't have a pc or Mac bought either a s2/s4 for the integration with iPad and there's so many let down customers waiting to enjoy there purchase but unless your still on ios6 your in a list of people playing a very long waiting game.

Come on NI get tough with apple and thrash this out its a great app and the hardware is yet to be praised whilst this ongoing problem carrys on.

A Christmas fix would put all your ios7 customers at piece!

For all of us that have been patient in waiting for the ios7 fix and anyone from native that's reads this can we all just have a little honesty in to when this fix will be sorted out, you did say in (Q4 2013) surely we are there now and you gave us an update yes but not the one you said would be arriving.

 

Infact you gave us everything but.... So angry that I have spent so much money and native have us all waiting like we owe them something, now you have had our money, push on and get this new update out there. You can't tell me after 3 months you are not aware of this frustrating time you are giving your customers. BAD CUSTOMER RELATIONS.

 

So i guess S2 mk2 is still not working on iPad...this means risking my 2200€ mac book pro every friday and saturday.

 

No it doesn't work 30secs in to 1st song and it crashes.

 

Since Traktor 1.3.2, not only Dropbox sync is back, but I was able to play for 3 hours without any glitch or bug. I am playing on an iPad 4 connected to the Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2. Can anyone else confirm?

 

Well good for you and genuinely I mean that... I'm using a a ipad air and it doesn't last more than a few seconds! So yeah not happy 1 bit

 

Does it have ios 7 or ios 6?

Except ipad air.. Off course! I challenge anyone from native to leave a positive honest response to ios7 being compatable anytime soon.

 

i don't get how they release something with the main selling feature is ipad functionality and it doesn't even work with any new ipads . It almost seems like the s4 mk2 and s2 mk2 should be pulled off the shelves now. All you read is how they dont work with ios 7, it constantly crashes even on macbooks and windows laptops. And you hear no response at all from native instruments even acknowledginig there is an issue at all.

 

Exactly pure ignorance is all they are currently good at yet.. Very very ignorant.

 

Not 1 person from the company can comment on this thread, shows how little they either look at our comments or again that they rather ignore us and come up with ( this will be resolved soon) 3 mths later though.. It's worn thin

I must comment on the ios6 with traktor Dj I've been using a ipad with ios6 on today with my kontrol s2 mk 2 and boy it is seemless.... The fun I've had the smooth mixes and the integration is mind blowingly easy and I know I have give some negativity in my earlier posts regarding ios7 integration, but I congratulate NI on ios6, and urge anyone to invest in a kontrol s2 mk 2 when all issues have been sorted out, I have been teased today but wishful of a future fix with ios7 so I can enjoy it on my own ipad.

 

i do not want to defend native instruments, i bought the Mk2 just to use it with the iPad, but the issue seems serious. Probably a memory leak in the drivers, i don't remember if iOs7 is when Apple killed Garbage Collection and maybe this is the cause.
I don't like waiting as much as you, but i'm a programmer and i know that some things are not easy to fix, and i gues NI is pretty aware that this is hurting them bad.

 

I understand that and a job done well will be worth the wait I guess but it's the lack of info and the poor communication with us all that makes a £400 plus piece of equipment pretty damn useless when it's only doing half it's job that hurts me. And by that I am a non user of traktor pro I bought this for ipad And that reason only! So where's the 3 mth wait update I ask! Q4 2013 they said

 

as i said, software development is not a straightforward process, i mean that things can go wrong in a lot of ways and bad things can happen that delay things a lot. So i guess they are saying nothing because actually they have nothing to say, Q1 2014 seems more reasonable to me.
Having said that i guess you could ask for a full refund since you bought something which is not workling
