But the IO Dock is not iPad 4 compatible.
If they make one that fits the lightening connection and allows the iPad to sit in the dock properly then it might be a contender if NI implement headphone cueing via the iPad headphone output.

and since Apple told nobody, and i mean NOBODY that they change the connetor on all their devices, all the other 3rd Party supplier got a lot to do...

Nope. The S4 soundcard is not compatible with Traktor DJ.
You would have to run TDJ through Traktor Pro as a Live Deck.

Are there any soundcards that can use 2 stereo outputs, 1 for master, 1 for Cue, that are not the Audio 6, Audio 10, Komplete 6 or Kontrol Z2?

So do any NON-NI cards give you access to the multi-channel selection preference window?

 

RME BabyFace http://www.rme-audio.de/en_products_babyface.php is Classcompliant with a firmware update http://www.rme-audio.de/en_support_.../support/en_support_techinfo_babyface_cc_mode and offers 4 Analog Outs (the second pair are headphone).

Its not cheap though. If I was going into that range, I would wait for the Apogee.

 

I already have the Babyface, and have tried it but there is no way to assign Stereo Master (Main Outs on the BF) and Stereo Cue (Headphone Out on the BF) as NI seem to have locked this option out when using any third party sound card. Is this correct or are there any third party soundcards that can use 2 x stereo outs, 1 set for master, 1 set for cue?

When using the Babyface you only get the "Split" option, Master goes to LEFT and Cue goes to RIGHT on BOTH main and headphone outputs. Sound is great but only mono.

 

Mixvibes u-mix44 $77 on eBay. Built in headphone amp, mic pre amp (pass through to master) 100% works with all iOS apps /multi channel dj apps.

I just bought a Focusrite iTrack Solo. It's only got a headphone out and Master out...

The interface is definitely working, as it plays audio. However it doesn't give me the ability to set up audio routing. Seems like each interface is going to have to be enabled via an update or something.

Does anyone know if the inability for a device to access the Traktor DJ Audio Setup/Routing screen is something that NI will fix, or does each device require an update?

 

I've got a Babyface as well, but i'm not going to go and buy the camera connection kit until I know it's compatible with Traktor DJ.

The Babyface is multi output compatible with Auria so I don't understand why it's not with Traktor DJ.

In order to be able to set up audio routing, the audio interface must have 4 or more separate outputs: L-Master, R-Master, L-Headphones, R-Headphones, etc.

Focusrite iTrack Solo has only 2 outputs: L-Master and R-Master (see detailed specs). Headphone output on this audio interface is not "full featured" audio output: it just for for monitoring input channels (e.g. guitar or mic) and master channels, and it can't play something else.

So, unfortunately, you can't get audio routing feature neither with any update nor with any other software. It is better to get another audio interface, because Focusrite iTrack Solo designed more for musicians but not for djing.

 

U-MIX & Audio 2 DJ

Could someone confirm me if the audio 2 DJ would work with another DJ iOS app, djay for example. And what about U-MIX 44 does it really work with all iOS apps (specially djay again) as some one said above? Does it work with traktor DJ?
