    Hi There:
I have Traktor DJ and an iPad Pro. I was intrigued when I found that iCloud Sync now replaces Dropbox Sync for hotcues, beatgrids, and other metadata.

I wanted to get some clarity on this. I've read that this only works for iPads. I take it that as of now, metadata syncing between Traktor Pro and Traktor DJ is still not possible? If not, is it possible to transfer metadata between Traktor Pro and Traktor DJ? From what I'm seeing, I would have to create hotcues and beatgrids on the iPad, and not on my computer. Is this right?

    Thank you for reading.

Hi, .. let me summarize for you:

    - the meta data sync between TDJ iPad and Traktor Pro is still not supported from NI. This is a TPro problem (not a TDJ issues), because NI removed the meta data sync in TPro (latest version which supported sync was 2.6.6).

    - The fact that new TDJ supports iCloud now (instead Dropbox) did not solve the missing feature in TPro. It solved the need to sync meta data between iPads only since Dropbox access ended. iCloud is successor of this feature (btw: only iPad, new TDJ/iCloud for iPhone still missed)

    - but you can use my workaround, maybe helps: TraCoMerger may help to sync manually between TDJ and TPro.The newest TraCoMerger (1.5)supports meta data sync with TDJ iCloud;)

Hey thanks for the heads up; makes sense, and I really hope that now that iCloud Sync is there, that NI re-enables Metadata Sync again.

I will have a look at your app, soon. My SSD on my Mac needs pruning, as I’m less than 100GB of space, and I’ll have to put on something like Parallels and Windows in order to use the app. I hope a Mac version may be around the corner, but otherwise this might be awhile.
