Going back to 6 is a total waste of time now....when will tracktor be updated?

 

When it is ready and NI are happy with it. I can't say any better than that. They are working on it. it is impossible to put a date on something like this.

I don't know how much NI official people hang out here in the Forums, but I sure hope they're putting high development / release priority on this. They hooked me on the iPad app, and so OS compatibility has to be high on the QA list....

 

Please NI, this needs to be SOLVED ASAP. I bought an S4MK2 and couldn't gig on Saturday due to freeze issues...

Am I right in assuming we need to wait for Apple to fix audio in ios 7 rather than all these vendors fix their programs?

 

I hope this is a serious priority for NI. I did not receive a warning until Traktor DJ automatically updated itself to remove a perfectly working metadata sync on my ios7 iPad. With no way to downgrade I am now stuck between a rock and a hard place with a string of gigs where I was hoping to bring just my iPad and my z1 to in the upcoming weeks.

Please tell me there's an update coming shortly. I have time and money invested in this. It took me five whole consequtive days to analyse my collection metadata and that's know all for naught.

 

Some more testing....beside reported issues....also found terrible sound degradation after 10-15 min mixing. Totally unusable.

Any news from NI? We need a date to make a decision.

N+I has built a strong user base of professionals using its products; so it needs to act a bit differently on one major respect (vs. a consumer products company.)

A company selling to professionals must communicate with its customers more proactively, and frequently, on major issues. In this case, a couple of weeks of radio silence after the initial warning was probably fine; but now iOS 7.0.2 is out, no solution has emerged, and it's now approaching 30 days of DJs facing issues with live performances - or at least an increasing level of difficulty with NOT upgrading to iOS 7.x.

So it's time to say something to your professional customers whom you have won over to your products. Please provide whatever you think is helpful to professionals using your products, within the legal constraints your developer agreement with Apple may constrain you. I would like some idea of how to think about what to do - about upgrading, about timing, about ....

I understand the unpredictability of your own development, and (worse) the lack of guidance from Apple. I'm a software development manager myself; I get it.

But after this amount of elapsed time, something more than radar silence is needed from N+I for its professional customers.

 

Im in the same boat!!!!Pls bring back all the features tht were available before sudden update..i have important gigs lined up and not cool to play without those features.UPDATE WHEN??/ PLS NI thx JKA

 

Can anyone confirm that this means we can just enable it again? Or is it more complicated than that?

 

It is disabled within the app. It will be enabled in an further update. It cannot be enable by the user.

Not that I'm assuming cause (my posting) and effect (the news from N+I two days after my posting), it was nice to have N+I send it's information on this yesterday.

Sad to hear that S2/4 and iOS 7 aren't playing well together yet; that'll postpone my _iPad_ upgrade. But since I don't use either with my _iPhone_, I'll go ahead and do that iOS 7 upgrade.

Hi guys sorta new to the form. How come I didn't get the letter as I did subscribe to the news feed. So what dose work with iOS 7 and iPad as I no the a6, a10, z1, z2, s2/4 are all capable on iOS 6.

 

NI says tracktor dj is working reliably in ios7, as per Karlos msg, but still need testing for use with controllers. So can you release an update now for us not using controllers with the ipad?

Hi guys. I no this is a Random post but is there any way to enter the bpm of the track manually is strand of using the tap mode, I can't seem to tap the right tempo and I and even used a Metronome to help but traktor dj just won't play ball

 

7.0.3 is out. Does this fix any issues? I'd REALLY like Metadata sync back by this weekend!

 

Another update for tracktor DJ has just appeared saying bug fixes: what bug fixes is it now compatible with ios7?
