Traktor DJ - iPad - iOS7 - Audio 2 MKII - thanks for nothing, NI

Anyone have samé problem? Or Im alone in universe to have problem that 2 produkts from NI are not working together? Is the problem latest version of IOS? Should I give back audio 2 to distributor and check another soundcards?????? Thanks for every kind of answer....

 

Yup, I have the same problem

 

I resolved it for short while. It didn’t last

I just did a complete restore of my ipad, here's the process I took:
- plug iPad in to mac/pc
- backup iPad
- sync iPad
- wipe back to factory settings
- restore

Things worked perfectly after this… until I quit Traktor DJ unplugged the Audio 2 and later went to have another mix. This is what I did:

I turned off the iPad connected the Audio 2 and booted up the iPad… as per the instructions.

Then all probs were back… total slowdown and freezes of the ipad and esp traktor dj, the audio two flashed lights and did not activate the audio setup menu in Traktor DJ.

Surely we can't be expected to restore our devices to factory setting and rebuilding them each time we want to use this!

to re-sync a 32gb iPad takes ages!

 

NI support got back to me with a temporary fix - Issues with Traktor DJ, Traktor Audio2 MKII & iPad mini retina iOS 7.1.1

 

Gentlemen, how is it now? Anyone using Audio MK2 at the moment, please tell me if it is working okay now?

And another question: where to buy a power supply for it? Which one I need?

I haven't bought an Audio MK2 yet, but looks like I have to buy it this week, need to play on a gig while I am travelling...

I've been using Audio Mk2 + Ipad Air for a few months and it works good. Except for occasional crashes, about 1 every 60 hours of operation, which I also had with the Z1, I like the setup. Connecting Traktor DJ to the club mixer is for me the best way to go!
