    Hello Again,

I would like to know has anyone used Traktor Dj on the iPad with an external sound card? either Native Instruments A6 or A10. If you have. Has this enhanced the sound quality greatly? My understanding is the sound quality for the iPad on it's own is no where near as superior to that of the MacBook Pro.

I tested this by playing the same tracks on both devices at the same volume output on the pc speakers. Lets just say Traktor Pro on Mac nailed it where as Traktor Dj on iPad even set on high volume on the app and not adjusting the pc speaker volume was no where near as good quality.

So would the sound card fix this? If not than I see there would be no way in using Traktor Dj on iPad in clubs as the sound quality even through a sound card would not make it near as good as the sound through a Macbook Pro that was connected to an external sound card.

    Welcome.
I use the TA6 with Traktor DJ and it sounds excellent as you would expect with a high quality soundcard.

I think your question almost answers itself. When you use an external soundcard it matters not what the laptop/iPad is (to a large degree).

I have used TDJ over a large system with the TA6 and it sounded just as good as Traktor Pro to my ears.

    Hello Karlos,

Thanks Heaps for you positive feed back and glad to hear that it works well with the A6. I actually prefer for some reason using Traktor Dj on iPad but was afraid that if I went out and purchased the A6 that sound quality may have still been not as good.

    Cheers.
