Traktor dj meta data vs tsp meta data are they compatible using sync

I understand that dropbox sync is down in the latest versions of the software. Is there any way to write meta data in Traktor DJ/iPad iTunes and then Sync that same Jam to my iTunes library on my laptop and have that data available to use in TSP?

 

Nope. Traktor Pro can only import TDJ metadata via the metadata sync function that is currently disabled. There is no other way to sync between applications.

 

Do you know when will be available again this function?

 

No I have no information as yet. As soon as I can share something I will.

 

The inability to not be able to sync cue points from Traktor Dj to Traktor Pro is a major issue, and is one of the main selling points for Traktor DJ and why I and I am assuming my people, paid a hefty sum for the app to begin with. I tried for hours to get sync to work several weeks ago and check regularly for a fix. The fact that there is no fix date in sight is concerning at best. The point of Traktor DJ in my opinion for professionals is to be able to audition and cue tracks on the go on the iPad and sync them back to Traktor Pro. Without this functionality Traktor DJ loses it's appeal to any professional. I think NI is fantastic on many levels, but to have no date for a crucial sync fix between your own two apps is pretty poor. I would have people working around the clock on this one!
