    Hi,

This is my first post here just registered a few minutes ago.

The reason why I'm here is because I purchased native Instruments Traktor DJ Studio 3 but my problem is that I can't seperate the sound output (like the one I wanna listen to in my headphones) and the one comming out of my speakers.

Because like you all already know Traktor has got 2 different decks and I wanna be able to choose what deck comes out on my speakers and when I wanna listen to a song in my earphones without hearing it on my speakers. I got these 3 things at front of my laptop where I can put the following things in:

    microphone + speaker + speaker

This is the way it appears on my Hp Pavillion dv9000.

I would really appreciate if anyone could help me with this as I wanna mix some music... thx in advance :)

I have an HP Pavilion too...the DV6000, which is probably similar to yours. On mine, I have 3 1/8" jacks on the front....one is for MIC, one is for HEADPHONES and one is for SPDIF...which is a digital output....so I dont think you can plug in normal speakers to the SPDIF.

I have a DV series laptop as well. There is only ONE speaker/headphone output in the front of the machine. You should get a multi-channel soundcard (shameless plug...Audio8?)
