    1. Midi assign/learn for filters & other functions. ...and while you're at it: Make the X1 iOS-compatible too, so I can use my X1 together with Z1 to control Traktor DJ on my iPad.

    2. Tap function for the Master speed

    ???

DVS - why should NI do this ? (forget the fact that we would like). TDJ isn't any business for NI. Sorry, but don't expect this would ever happen :D
Midi Learn - LOL :)... i would also love this, but let's forget it. NI is business driven ... supporting own NI Hardware only

I have my doubt that this thread does make any sense longer !
Why do we all waste our time to post in this thread ??

You are so wrong with your statements...

    1. I've bought my Z1 in addition to A10 only for TDJ. I can add professional payed gigs to all my vacations with that. There is your business case.
    2. X1 is a NI Hardware, bro.

You got me wrong. I also have a Z1, a S4, A6 etc ...and I'm working with TDJ only, I love it, will never change back to laptop, as i feel the future is mobile. But this does NOT mean that it is the business case for NI (see it from their perspective) . NI ensures that Z1, S4, A10 etc work with Traktor Pro too (much more important for them is selling HW) and the fact that X1, S8, D2 etc... is not supported from TDJ underlines my argument. But feel free to have an other opinion, accepted ;)

Much more important - and that's my personal (ans yes: subjective) Statement: we can write and wish want we want in this thread ... but did this ever change anything ?? I follow this thread from the beginning (2013), please give me ONE TDJ wish example NI realized because we asked for .... ibob and Peasey are so right with their statement above .. unfortunatly :(

Not sure what you are talking about there? I seem to have all of the effects that are mentioned as being missing; Iceverb, Transpose, reverse etc. So in my case, while I still have them I'd happily pay for more features.

Kalo is right. They need to fix the bugs first. 1.6.2 with io8 8 is useless. Just crashes...Try doing 6hour sets with it and you will see.
The history is erratic. Sometimes it saves, sometimes it doesn't. But do they care? They seem more concerned with the d2 and stems.

Oh and let's not forget the search window bug....
Tdj is just about stable on ios 7 running 1.6.1. I'd rather not have new effects. I just want ni to fix the old mess first.

Well I've been using it for about 4 weeks now, admittedly not for 6 hours straight, but no problems as yet. I've probably cursed myself there.

Lol. It will work fine like that...but I use it 5-6 hours every night & it will just force quit without warning. The last time I tried it, it literally shut down 3 times in a row really quickly. It's a just a shame...your a new user and yeah you love it and want new features...like we all did.

ok, I cross the fingers for you. What you should do to avoid any problems of your currently running System: Best is to backup your iPad including (!) the apps on your local PC or Mac (not cloud only!) ... we learned from past: each new TDJ Version (with new features) is less stable and less performant then the version before (iBob and myself are using older Versions, meanwhile not longer in store available). So keep your current TDJ 1.6.x to ensure you always can restore via itunes backup.

Last hint: if you define a lot of cues, you should also backup your TDJ song collection.nml (via dropbox) because each itunes or iOS or TDJ update could erase all cues. Didn't want to daunt you ... so enjoy TDJ ! ... same we do :)

First wishlist item is: More stable Traktor DJ!
There's no way Traktor can be used for anything other than a toy at home if there's the slightest possibility that it will crash.

Second wishlist item is a feature I would love to see: editable beat grids along the lines of the late lamented Torq DJ application's "tempo Anchor" feature. This was a pretty basic piece of software from 2009 and yet it had this very useful feature. It allows for beatgrids for tracks with variable tempos which opened up a whole range of pre-drum machine, pre-vst music to sync, loop, cue, etc. This feature allows for "edits" on the fly and long blended mixes for all sorts of old records and I've long cursed the day I "upgraded" my Mac to 10.9 and thus inadvertently rendered Torq unusable. I've switched over to Traktor DJ mostly and before it crashed on me found it to be perfect for my needs with that one exception that would make such a huge difference.

I rate/like yout first bullet  YES, stable as earlier versions, also perfomant similar old versions.

Second bullet, i have my doubts that this will ever be on the TDJ roadmap ... as Traktor Pro also do not have this flexibility. i also would love to have, but not expect in TDJ future.

It's a pity as it's the one feature that really makes a dj-ing application truly functional across all genres and styles. I would love to see it in Traktor Pro too. In fact I'd love to see Traktor Pro have the same ease of use as Traktor DJ too! Then I'd seriously consider investing in it.

Traktor DJ/Traktor Pro sync by using iCloud including :

    - Cue points, loops and others markers
    - Comments
    - Stars notation
    - Playlists

Acces to the 8 Traktor DJ cue points with the Kontrol S4.

Please.... HEAR us and do something ! All of the others softwares and apps are evolving exept NI.
