Traktor Dropbox and Mixcloud struggle

I am a radio deejay who posts podcasts to Mixcloud. I usually upload content from my IMac. However I am on the road. I put a file into dropbox and assumed I could use my Ipad to upload it per usual to Mixcloud.

You know what they say about assumptions. You can't upload files to Mixcloud via Ipad. Mixcloud support suggested I purchase Traktor Dj which would allow me to use Dropbox and then export to Mixcloud thru Traktor

For the life of me, I can not get Traktor to sync the Dropbox file. My technical proficiency is so so. Is there a step by step guide for me to follow? Obviously I am doing something wrong

When did you buy the Traktor DJ app?

 

I purchased it from the App Store less than a week ago

 

Traktor Dj's Dropbox sync menu/feature is only to sync cue points, loops, etc. between the iPad Traktor DJ and the computer Traktor Pro program. Dropbox does not handle any file transfers, it only allows song information to be transfered (When it Works). The app by itself only uploads the iPad Traktor DJ recorded sets to Mixcloud. The only way I can see you uploading your file is to play it in Traktor DJ straight through and record the set, a little tedious (or just ask a trustworthy friend to download and upload it for you). I hope I could help.

 

You understood wrong the mixcloud traktor dj integration, clearly explains in the update that traktor dj can export directly to mixcloud the recorded sets in traktor dj, it doesn't say in any part that you can import records via dropbox and export through the ipad via mixcloud
