traktor duo scratch and x1 kontrol will it work?

    can you run traktor scratch and the x1 kontrol, if so can you also run the maschine, or is it better to get traktor pro..........

    Yes, it works the same way as it works with Traktor Scratch Pro except of the missing functions of course. You can also add a Maschine if you'd like to.

    what are the missing functions exactly...i want to order traktor pro with scratch duo..(audio dj 4) and x1...
    is it possible to use the x1 to control the 2 additional virtual decks in traktor pro..?

    so...this means with audio dj 4 and traktor pro u can control the 2 aditional virtual decks with x1?

    Hi,
    I should explain the differences between Traktor Scratch Pro and Traktor Pro first.
    Traktor Scratch Pro come bundled with the Audio 8 Dj soundcard. Using the Traktor scratch pro software allows you to control your digital MP3 files with external control media (Timecode Vinyl / CD).
    This is the only advantage the Scratch software gives you. If you don't want to use scratch control. You can simply get one of our audio devices (A2DJ/A4DJ/A8DJ) and buy the DJ software you're after (Traktor Duo/Pro).

    If you want to use 4 decks (2x scratch control and 2x virtual (X1)) you have to buy at least Traktor Scratch Duo and then upgrade your software to Traktor Scratch Pro. Using just Traktor Pro will not work (because it has no scratch control). However, you would need additional outputs for your Deck C & D, because the Audio4Dj only has 2 output channels.
