Today I wanted to export all my Traktor settings on my imac to my macbook pro. I exported everything to a file and copied it to my desktop on the macbookpro. I imported it into traktor and it seemed to be fine. Now when I try to launch traktor it does not respond. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!

    Hi i_fly,

Make sure that the directory is set correctly in the preferences.
By default, I think it points to the C:\Mt Documnets\Native Instruments\Traktor folder in Windows but I'm not sure what it would be on a MAC.

Worth a try though......ensure that the mapping points to where you have saved your exported information.

I have attached a screenshot of mine to assist.

    Hope this helps

    Regards,

    Mark.

    Thanks mark

But the problem is that it won't even start up so I can change the settings. It just loads and loads until I eventually force quit it.

I am not at home to try this but just a thought. The tsi file I imported is sitting on my desktop. Do I need to move that file into the Traktor settings folder? I will try it when I get home.

    Hi i_fly,

Best thing to do really is move all of the files from the exported folder into the default folder. This way, Traktor can pick up on all of the info it needs.......MIDI/Stripes/Paths/etc etc.

Be sure to copy though and not "cut".........I would always recommend a back up of the files :)

    Cheers

    Mark

I was having the same problem after loading a new TSI into TPro.

I fixed it by going into the Native Instruments folder in my Documents and then deleted Traktor Settings.tsi from the Traktor folder. Relaunch Traktor and it should load, but you'll have to reload your mappings and settings. Your library and playlists should still be there, though.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank zeerow

that did the trick. I wonder way this is happening though? I re-did it again and only imported the midi map and it worked fine. But I also want to load all my cue points and loops that are saved on my tracks.
