Traktor freezes and buzzes

    I recently upgraded from Traktor 2.something.old & DDJ-T1 to 2.6.7 and Allen & Heath K2.

    I find after about 10 mins of play, normally when midi signals are being sent from the controller, Traktor freezes and plays a constant buzzing noise.

    Traktor can be turned off but the buzzing won't stop until the controller is disconnected.

    I had no such issues with my previous set up.

    I've made sure I've close all other programs so Traktor has full power of my laptop.

    Specs are: Windows 8 Pro, 64 OS, 8 GB RAM and 2.3 GHz i7-3610QM CPU.

    Any suggestions?

    Do you have wifi on? I had problems with my laptop untill I disabled Wifi..

    The fact you have to even consider turning off wifi to run Traktor is a joke (no offense mate).

    I've tried everything. Updated Traktor, updated firmware on controller, turned off ALL programs and turned of wifi. No improvement

    Just tried it a second ago and it lasted a minute at best.

    actually, that is a very good advise in case you have latency based issues. wifi is THE number one thing that can affect audio.

    however, i'm not convinced that we have a latency issue here. let a midi tracking program run along traktor. i assume a midi overflow or something in that direction.
