I have a Dell Studio 1745 running Windows 7-64bit and Traktor Pro 2.03. I use a Denon DN-MC6000 external midi+mixer+audio_device. I can drop the latency down to 2ms and play for hours with no hiccups. Scratching, playing multiple decks with keylock on, etc. Traktor behaves flawlessly... until I try to change my effects. Usually it's just the first time changing the selected effect after starting Traktor. The effect isn't on, I'm just changing what's selected in the pulldown at the top of the screen. Traktor will stop the music for what seems like half a second and then continue. This seems like it's a bug, changing the selected filter (especially when it's inactive) shouldn't stop the program.

Hi, please try to increase the latency to 5 ms, if this problem is still the same, please contact a moderator of this forum to make your Ticket ahigher priority..

Ive had the same type of problem with my X1, sometimes but often enough if i engage a effect by sending my deck to efx 1 or 2 it stops briefly and then plays on! kind of annoying and off putting tbh!

Increasing latency to 15ms causes the large delay when changing a filter for the first time goes away but there's still a tiny (yet audible) hesitation each time an effect is changed.

i experience the same issue the first time i select some effects, but not always. even if they are not turned on and/or assigned to a deck.

this has been happening some versions ago (maybe years) and bothers me as well. at least, it just happens once in each set.

some time ago, i used to navigate thru all the effects before playing any song. now i don't, and from time to time i get that little nasty surprise that makes my heart jump out for half a second...

latency has nothing to do, sound card either (tried several). however, it may be considered a minor annoyance on the eyes of NI... and thus, never corrected.

Just got a response from NI acknowledging it as a bug.

This is an awful bug. I've noticed it since testing out Traktor 2 and I have tried so many workarounds its not even funny. When scrolling through effects I unassign all effects banks to whatever deck I'm working on. Still, when I reassign there is that small but noticeable gap. It comes out in recordings, too, and has marred every set I've played with T2. Would love to see this one fixed...

Still broken in 2.1.2. Anyone found a workaround yet? Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just a few of us?
