deck duplicate is sth i'm missing too.

then just leave it on hotcue. it's a toggle button for that.

the controller is aimed at the traktor scratch market - if it doesnt fit your needs, well, there are other possibilities.

i'm all over it since i once had the controller in hands!

 

Don't forget that you need two of those to control 4 decks so the pain is the same and also you have to rely on the club or bar mixer if you don't want to take yours so I don't see any advantages. We need a complete solution for Traktor that fits in a DJ bag not that kind of workaround things taking space in the dj booth, I rather buy another DJ2 to control decks C and D, they fit in my DJ bag perfectly and work great.

 

does someone knows when its avialable for buy it at the NI Online Shop ?

What's the other BPM equipment in the demo video?

Do any of you know what the other equipment in the video is?

Specifically, I'm curious about what looks to be a 2-channel BPM reader, but I can't really tell.

Im really psyched about this and am almost positive im gonna buy one. My one small beef is that there is no way to select different effects from the controller itself (or is there?) I assume you could map this out urself but i feel like that would complicate the sick default layout.

but why so long. everyone has go out and bought dx2 etc. traktor's been around a long time why does it take NI so long to bring out a controller that runs NI's software surly you should of been one of the first

 

I would like to know what mixer options I have if I'm trying to fit the Kontrol X1 in my custom odyssey coffin setup.

I currently use a Pioneer Dj-M 909, which fits the 10" slot exactly.

I would like to take the 4.7" X1 and place it alongside something slim like the PMC 06ProA, but it specs out at 5.4.

You can see the possible frustration when the two run just .1 over the width of my slot.

So, any suggestions? I need a 2 channel SCRATCH mixer (I need the sick crossfader action) that, when placed alongside the X1, will fit inside the standard 10" coffin cutout.

Any suggestions?

 

You could cut the coffinhinges off of both sides of the Vestax PMC-06 pro...

 

This looks pretty nice, love the back lighting and over all layout. I'm a bit gutted that I didn't know this was coming out before buying my Faderfox DX2. I'd like to see how this compares to the faderfox in functionality.

you should check again if 4 X1 are really supported before you buy them!

 

So the dimensions include the overhang for the coffin? i assumed they measured the "box". It seems strange they wouldn't have intentionally made it fit with a mixer in standard mixer cases/cutouts.

I hope someone tries the PMC 06 PRo A next to the X1 and all fits.

And I expect a full 4 decks solution like the DX with 4 faders and 4 EQ lines, don't come with a half a controller, there are too many of this in the market I already have my trusty DJ2.
