Traktor Kontrol X1 & Internal Mixing

Ok, according to this image:

We can do internal mixing with it. How? What do we use for EQ knobs. I could care less about a crossfader, but channel faders and EQs I need.

What's the plan for this?

 

I guess it means you use can keyboard Hotkeys for the Faders. Its not that hard actually.
Can also be done for the EQ, thats a bit fiddly although still doable .

Not ideal, ill grant you.

but i'd assign the xfader to some keyboard keys instead of the line faders

 

Yeah, I personally wouldn't use a use a system without faders and EQ's - too fiddly. The Traktor Kontrol X2 appears to be missing from that screenshot.

Basically the FX section can be used for volume and EQ, which is nice. Hopefully it will be layed out so we can switch back and forth between volume/EQ and FX.

 

Interesting. Not ideal, as the encoders aren't endless and would require soft takeover when moving between functions. But as an emergency backup, quite useful.

Do the LED lights (the groups of 8 at the bottom) turn green instead of blue if you have loops set instead of cue points?
