    Hello!

Just tried to install my BCD3000 on vista. Installed the driver in compability mode, no problems there. But the controls wont react when I play music. The only control that works is the master key. What is the problem? Have i forgot something?

Oh, my spectations is as following:

    core2duo 1,83 ghz
    2 gb ram
    250 gb hdd
    vista 32bit

i heard something about some midi functions and tried out some different things - but in "midi setup > supported midi interfaces" There isnt any supported midi interfaces?

Ok, so I seem to get it working although there is no light on the controller.

But every 2nd or 3rd song traktor is freezing? how come?

I've followed all the optimizing steps in the manual!

Because the driver of the BCD3000 is not officially Vista compatible. And Vista also causes problems when used for audio applications. Did you do also optimizations for audio use? WLan off, Antivir off, firewall off...

Yeah, i've fully optimized it for audio almost.

Will try windows firewall off and deactive my cd drive when I get home.

On xp I had same problem, but then I just had to play a couple of hours with bcd 3000 soundcard (not the ASIO one) and then turn over to BCD 3000 ASIO and then it would work.

    Its strange.

So, tried to deactive the cd drive and several other thing including taking my battery out of the laptop.

They Clearly helped on the latency (was running a latency checker meanwhile) but after, lets say 15 mins it froze again. All i had to do to get the music playing again was to open the bcd control panel weird. Well after that i had a clean run in 45 mins approx. So I guess my probem is kind of solved. hopefully none of these problems will return on wednesday for my gig.

    Thanks!
