    Hi there,

I was using traktor for a while in demo mode. A few days ago i bought a traktor kontrol z1 and traktor kontrol x1. they where working fine with the demo version. Yesterday i registered the LE traktor key and the z1 hardware via control center and webpage. The registering went fine but now when i start traktor, it crashes. I dont even see the startup screen.

i tried to delete traktor in 'applications' and some native-instrument directorys in /Library. even if i logout in control center i cant get back to demo mode. any suggestions how to solve this stuff? i think there is some cache left but i dont know where.

i created a support ticket too but i dont think they respond fast and i need traktor this weekend :)

    i'm using Mac OS X 10.10.3

Same issue for me, opening a ticket too.

Anyone know if this is only when using LE or is it the same for Pro users ?

they replied on my ticket. I need to run a script to investigate some info for them. at the moment i do not have my mbp here, i think they send you the same url. maybe you can give it a try already :
    ---
Please provide more info from your system:

    1. Use the below link to access the Native Instruments Support Tool:

    https://download.native-instruments.com/support/NI_Support_Tool_Mac_10_10.zip

    2. Un-zip the file and double click on the generated "Support Tool" file.

    3. Enter your Mac OS password in the field that pops up*. Then wait for the script
    to run until it finishes.

*If you do not own a Mac password, you need to create one in Mac System
Preferences >>Users and Groups >> Change Password

    4. Please send us the file "NI_Info.zip" which you'll find on your desktop after
    you follow the above steps.

The Support Tool is a script, which does not collect any private data but only
provides us with information via the following means:

    - Installation paths of Native Instruments software
    - Crashlogs / Error Messages
    - System Profile files (= Information about the used Hardware)
    - Copying Preferences files

These files help us answer your support requests more efficiently. The acquired
files are not archived and are deleted by the responsible Supporter as soon as the
case is closed. Of course, you have the possibility to check these files before
    sending them to Native Instruments.

    Best regards

    can you try: http://www.native-instruments.com/e...ninstall-traktor-pro-on-my-mac-os-x-computer/

if that doesn't work can you try to create a new user in osx and reinstall again? maybe there are some user related files left in the home dir.

    reply from support ticket:

please note that we need all data collected by the Tool in order to provide proper
support. Without a complete result folder, particular support is not available.

In this case the data is no longer needed though since we have already identified
    the reason for your problem:

The behaviour you are reporting is a known issue in version 2.8 concerning LE and
    ME versions:

"TP-10471 with v2.8.0 Traktor LE and ME versions crash on startup"

We are working currently working on a solution. For the time being please roll
back to any Traktor version up to 2.7.3. The issue does not occur with any of
    these versions.

You can also always use any older version that was previously installed, as
Traktor 2 always does 'side-by-side' installations for all updates.

For more information on the side-by-side features of Traktor please check this
    article from our Kowledge Base:

    http://www.native-instruments.com/e...ngrade-my-traktor-pro-2-to-an-earlier-version

    We ask for your understanding!
