Traktor LE/Pro 1.2.7 does not open/launch

Hi everyone!
I googled for this problem, but couldn't find a working solution and the posts were old.
I'm using Mac OSX 10.6.6 and Traktor Pro 1.2.7 and LE version (since PRO stopped working, I tried the LE version). 2009 MBP, 4gb ram.

Basically, Traktor does not open. The spinning wheel appears. Eventually the program opens 5 minutes later, recognizes the X1 and my console, but the controls of the Hercules DJ Control MK4 are unresponsive.

I worked with it over a month and it did just fine. somehow it stopped working, I did
not update or change anything..
tried to uninstall and reinstall without success... same problem persisting.

I tried to delete every traktor related file, open the app without the devices connected etc.. no difference...

Someone with the same problem?
I have no clue what to do and I really need it to work!

Did you rerun the setup wizard?

If that doesn't work delete Traktor Settings.tsi if you haven't tried that already in your step of deleting traktor related files.

 

yes, I did. I also deleted the settings file...
I really don't know what else I can do!

 

so here's the new situation after having cleaned audio cache, reinstalled drivers and software:

traktor opens after 5 minutes, works with the x1, uses the mk4 as audio interface (and it works), but the controls are idle; the console unresponsive.

really strange...
