traktor le pro messing up

    I have a numark omni controll and it came with traktor LE pro and everytime i open it the effects flicker.. and when i try to load a song on deck B deck A will stop... also it just loops random things and spazzes out.. i tried downloaded a different version of traktor and it does the exact same thing. I downloaded virtual dj and it works perfectly fine. Personally i dont like virtual dj and im dying to use traktor but can not... Some one please help me or ill be so bummed ill prob. sell my mixer and my mac book

    Mine does the same man its fukkin annoying, the cross fader spazzes and wont go past half way and when It also shifts the channel faders by itself at random sometimes its worse than others, it was fine when I 1st got it and has deteriorated very fast, Ive thought about hitting the heap of **** with a hammer!

    I'm interested in hearing how you managed to map the controller to virtual DJ. Honestly, I prefer that, if only because it's what I've used for years. I have the stealth controller and my virtual DJ wouldn't differentiate decks, so my FX buttons and such on each side controlled both decks at the same time.

    Omni Control spazzing

    I have had a similar issue with my crossfader. I talked to Numark tech support and was told that the unit is sending "rogue midi signals" to the software. If the software does not do these things WITHOUT the Omni control connected, then you know it's the unit and not the software. I stopped using the crossfader and just use the volume controls now and it's been ok, however, if I want to use the crossfader again I'll have to send the unit for service. Crooky I suspect you are having the same issue although I'm no expert.

    hmm i have a very similar problem with the Mixdeck and Traktor LE. when i use the FX on the mixdeck, the software glitches out like crazy. i think its the newest version of Traktor Le that they sent out. Im not sure how to fix unfortunately

    I just had my omni sent away, turns out 3 of the pots (EQ nobs) are busted and so is the cross fader, and are being replaced for $150 to $200NZD, kinda weird how they all died at the same time
