Traktor LE recording (Mixer, Audio Kontrol 1)

    Hey,

    I just found out that Traktor LE doesn't have recording capabilities and now I'm looking for another way. I've read a few other threads but nobody has the same setup. I'm guessing Audacity is the best choice, but I couldn't get it to work so far. My equipment is a basic mixer and an Audio Kontrol 1. I have the mixer connected to the AK1 through two stereo channels. From the mixer's output I use headphones (don't have speakers atm). Another software I've seen mentioned is Jack, but I couldn't get it to work either... I'm using Windows 7 btw.

    I can't get it to work so any help would be appreciated.

    hi,

    it's not possible to set the "main" and "monitor" hardware output to the same audio stream of traktor (main output).

    what may help is a Y-cable with one "in" and two "outs" of RCA jacks to split the Main out from the Omni control - this is not the gentle way but it works and nearly every electronic store got this stuff.

    the king-class is an audio splitter, e.g. http://www.musicstore.de/de_DE/EUR/P...REC0001325-000
    (need this x2)

    and then you can made an external recording of (exactly) what you hear.
