It means it starts working as soon as you hit the button; the timing with punch in effects is critical... similar to Beatmasher.

I could only implement the wet-side of "PolarWind" into some of my breakdowns (hardtechno, psy-progress), creates scary voice of some sort and "WormHole" for some variation of a filter sweep, again in a breakdown.

Yes, breakdowns are where I also find the new macro FX's work best.

I love to use Wormhole and Stretch (fast) together in the following way.

I usually do this with a drum loop or short sample that is playing in the background of my main track. It also works great with a capella tracks that you are playing over the main stuff. First, I turn Wormhole almost completely "up" (turn effects knob clockwise) so that it only lets through a little bit of sound (turning too far filters all the sound completely). Then, I turn on Stretch (fast) on the same deck, but I keep the knob in the center (no effect). A quick sudden turn in either direction will create a really cool/trippy/echo sound that barely resembles the original, but you can still hear some of the original traits. A slower turn will create less dramatic and more subtle results. Typically, the Stretch effect is pretty loud and destructive, but this is tempered by the Wormhole effect.

Have tried this one with acapella. Cool effect! Thanks for the tip!
