Traktor/Maschine with 2 mac computers

    ok so i now have my 2 mac computers set up one running traktor s4 and one running maschine, ive got the audio from the maschine system to play threw my s4 but i was woundering if i could assign that to a channel? so that i could have control over faders and possibly eq ? I do recall ni saying something to the effect that the s4 could not be used as a mixer... but im not completely sure.

    You obviously have it plugged into channel D with the switch in thru mode. Set the switch to USB. Check your input routing to make sure channel D is assigned to deck D and then put deck D into thru mode. You will then have your maschine audio coming through deck D and will be able to control level, EQ and assign effects as required.

    NI's statement only applies if you are using the S4 without a computer or it has crashed.
