    Hello everyone,

I'm looking for people with experience with this setup:

Traktor scratch pro running on laptop (macbook)
    Allen & Heath Xone 4D
    Maschine running on other laptop

I have just added the Native Instruments Maschine to my setup, but can't get it to work yet.

Traktor is working just fine. I've connected maschine through midi out on the Xone to Midi in on the Maschine. I followed the instructions on the Tutorial clip:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUZVFzSmKpk

Only in my midi setup of Traktor I do not get the option of midi out; just Allen & Heath Xone 4D. Also I ticket the box of sending midi clock etc.

    In Maschine my configuration is:

Audio: Driver options are Asio or WASAPI
Device: Asio and Xone 4D USB ASIO driver
    Routing: Input Xone:4D / Output Xone:4D

In the Midi section it says that the status is off. I don't know how I can turn this on?

If anyone can help me, that would be great. It's probably really simple, but I don't see the solution at this point.

    Tnxs

I think nobody uses the same setup as me....?

After contacting support I'm beginning to find out more. I could use traktor on slide 1,2 and 3 on the xone 4d and maschine on slide 4.

But now, should I buy an extra soundcard or could I use one?

With one soundcard I should use a usb hub of some kind, so that from the usb port of the xone 4d there will be two usb cables that will connect to the two laptops?

    Is this possible?

In the tutorial video #22, syncing traktor and maschine they use two systems, an audio 8 and a audio kontrol 1.

I know there are people using 1 laptop with maschine and traktor on it, with virtual connection. But could you use two laptops and only one soundcard?

    Anyone?

No it does not work with a hub.
Maybe you can get it to work if you use just one computer.
There is plenty of info on the net that explains how to accomplish that.

If you want to use two computers you need an audio 4 or something simular and connect one output from the audio 4 to an (analog) input on your xone 4d. (Only connect the PC with maschine on it to the audio 4 or other external audio interface)

    Tnxs Divine,

you are right. It works on one computer and with an extra soundcard (audio 4) it also works.

    Hey there,

So how do you get this to work on one computer. I heard that wasn't possible because it was too cpu intensive. is it possible to do with computer, an audio 8 dj, and both softwares?
