    You can use them in any midi device,
    They are something like "STATES" or "Conditions", so if for example u select
    Play/Pause->DECK A and set it to "0"
    then the command will only work when the Deck A is not Playing
    If you had set it to "1" then the command would work only when Deck A is playing

    What is that you wanna do with Mods?

    i have a OTUS..
    i'm using a set of 3 (on each side Deck A Deck B) knobs to control the hi mid low of the EQ...

    what i want to do is use the button that turns on EFX's ON & OFF (see pic) to act as a mod switch..

    so in the ON mode of the button used to turn the efx ON
    i want it to switch the 3 EQ's to the 3 Paramiters on the advanced EFX..

    if you go to this pic..
    http://www.rudy.dj/grafica/otusmap.jpg

    you will see the top left corner is the ON OFF button
    and the 3 per side EQ's...

    i hope this is kinda clear.. what i'm trying to do..!

    cheers

    If i understand Correct you mean the Top Left Scroll and Push button.

    That is kinda easy...
    (I suppose you have already mapped the FX ON/Off Toggle Button)
    First you need to Create a Modifier Toggle Command
    You do that by (I'll use M1 as an example)

    1. add in->Modifier->M1
    2. Hit LEARN and push the button
    3. In Mapping Details
    Modifier Conditions: M1->0
    Type of Controller: Button
    Interaction Mode: Direct
    Button Option: SET TO=1
    4. Then Dubpicate the Command from the Dublicate Button
    And Change
    Modifier Conditions: M1->1
    Button Option: Set To=0

    Now You have made a modifier to Toggle

    now All you have to do is add/Change the Modifier Condition (in the mapping details)of all the Eq Parameters to M1=0
    The Create the New Command for the FX parameters and add/change the Modifier Condition (in the mapping details) to M1=1

    So now lets say you are in "Normal mode" and the pots are commanding the EQ
    when you'll hit the FX ON/OFF button the FX will go On and now you have the Pots to manage the FX parameters

    But If i Were you I 'd try to find a different button for the modifier than the same with On/Off, it would be better. If you think you can spare another Button do it that way
