Wouldn't it be a good idea to translate the German session into English and the English sessions into German? We are all using the same product.

For example, the German session last week (if I remember correctly) mentions that 14-bit midi jog wheels will not be supported in 1.0.3 - info that we didn't know on the English-speaking side.

    Really?
I would think adding 14bit midi would cover everything. Could someone please confirm if this is true?

'Das gilt in der kommenden Version erst einmal für Potis und Fader. Die Unterstützung von Jog-Wheels mit 14-bit MIDI haben wir für ein weiteres Update geplant.'

    =

This is for the next verson true only of Pots and Faders. The support for Jog-wheels with 14 bits is planned for a future update.

    ---

I might as well sum up the rest of the post since I've wazzed it thru Google translate:-

Display support for Denon HC-4500? In a future update - unspecified when.

Something about TPro analyzing transients on files have already been beatgridded in 3.4. Yes TPro does this, and if the transient detection is improved, it may analyze all files again.

The interface colour schemes will not be made freely configurable, though they may consider providing some alternative ones.

Drum & Bass polyrhythms confuse Traktor's beat detection - this is being worked on and should improve.

Having the decks shown horizontally - has conceptual issues - they are currently working on the 'low level of the deck in 4 deck mode' ?

Having more options for tag fields to be shown in the decks - this is planned for a future update.

There is also a couple of other things too boring or confusing to relate.

Do you know if the 14 bit midi is usable with any controller?

As far as I known, 14bit midi is only usable for controllers that support it.
At the present, only a few controllers do, like the VCI-300.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm relatively new to the world of MIDI. So does this mean that older controllers which do not support 14 bit will no longer be supported by Traktor at all? Specifically I am using a Hercules MK2 to control decks C & D and the fx...

no, 14 bit midi support is an extension, controllers without 14 bit midi will work as they did before

cool thanx for the info. Exactly what does 14bit midi enable one to do with a supported controller?
