After I beat match track B and check that it is aligned via the phasemeter, I start mixing, but then halfway through the phasemeter and track B will go completely out of sync randomly, I can beat match it again/use the phase meter, but then it goes out of sync again and there's no real way to fix this aside from setting track B to master track/tempo or hitting sync for track B.

What is the problem and is there anyway to fix this?

the phase meter only works correctly, if you have correct beatgrids. did you beatgrid your tracks?

    Traktor beatgridded them.

then i'd recheck the grids. it's still a computer ;)
you can also post a screenshot from the 2 tracks going off, maybe we can see from the picture what is going on and if it's the grids.

So the problem is the beatgrids? I should go through thousands of songs in my traktor and adjust the ones that seem to be wrong? No other solution? What happens if I turn off the phasemeter and beatmatch by ear, will it still jump? I don't get why the meter jumps even after I beat match it and its set at the same bpm

Traktor uses the beatgrids to work out the tempo and phase of a song. If it is wrong traktor will get the phase wrong. If you beatmatch by ear the tempo and phase might be wrong according to traktor but will be correct anyway. The phase meter will be off or moving around. You can just ignore it then.

I have 30k of tracks. There is no way I am going to check the grids on them all. Some songs have such an unsteady tempo that getting a correct grid is impossible anyway. I tend to manual correct the grids of the songs I play regularly and just use my ears for the rest and ignore the tempo and phase meter that traktor says it is.
