Hey everyone, my question is this:
How does one switch between playing Traktor on advanced HID on cdj2ks seamlessly with the next dj who would want to play on the same decks either cds or timecode? Or better put - how can you switch back and forth between advanced HID on Traktor 2.5.1 and timecode or regular cds, without having to stop the music?

My attempts on loading a cd on one of the cdj2000s while the other was still controlling Traktor caused Traktor to stop playing (when i switched between LINK and DISC on the cdj, Traktor's external routing stopped working).

Question might sound stupid to some, but please tell me how should i make this work

    Thanks

Are you also using the CDJs as your audio output for Traktor?
I've never experienced this issue, however I only use the DJM900 built in interface or the A8.
I frequently unplug the USB hub connected to the CDJs and Traktor will continue playing without problems

Yeah unfortunately i use the cdjs as an output.. Is there any way i can still seamlessly do the switch while using them as a soundcard?

    Thanks

I doubt it. I haven't used CDJ as a sound card but what you are doing is Aggregating the two CDJs into one device (a soundcard), by disabling one deck you are breaking this link between the two CDJ thus "breaking" the soundcard and the audio stops.

I've asked in the past if Traktor could ever support more than one soundcard. It would be perfect for this situation, each deck would be given its own CDJ which would act as a soundcard.
