Traktor Pro 2.6 with CDJ2000 set up as sound card

    Hi everyone,

    I just updated my CDJ firmware to the current 4.20 version as well as Traktor Pro to 2.6 and I selected the installation that enables my pair of CDJ 2000s to act as the sound cards. I'm not using the remix decks or any controllers other than allowing the CDJs to drive Traktor via Advanced HID as selected on the CDJs menu. Also I'm only allowing Deck 1 and Deck 2 to be seen on screen.

    All is working and sounding well except for one issue I can't seem to resolve.

    The entire waveform display on the Deck Display (both deck 1 and deck 2) on both the software (laptop screen) and on the CDJ displays is missing. The track shows up and you can see it playing live in the large window above the long narrow waveform window. It's the waveform window that is void of any data.

    Can anyone please advise as to how to get the waveform to show up on both the software and the CDJ displays? Thanks for your help.

    I have cdj2000 firm v4.11 and when I use Traktor via HID I can see the waveform in my laptop screen, but in cdj2000 screen I can see only the half of it. Also in cdj2000 screen I sometimes I can't see all the tracks as listed in Traktor (laptop screen). I can load / play any track I want, I just have to look in laptop screen as in cdj2000 screen tracks are not always there. For example in cdj2000 screen I might see first track of traktor playlist, then gap, then gap again, then I can see fourth track, then gap again etc etc

    @PeterC. Are your tracks fully analysed?

    you need te reanalyze your files. Just rightclick on one song, select Analyze (Async), after this your waveform should display on the CDJ.

    @ Count Zero and DJ Mad NL, thanks for the tip. I halted re-anlaysing my data when I upgraded to 2.6 so I will will now enable that 9 hour process and see if it yields the missing waveforms! Thanks again.
