Has anyone given a try to Traktor Pro 2 in El Capitan DP2? I have tested it for a while and while it is pretty good I forgot to try out Traktor Pro 2. I would say that noting the improvements they are working on there shouldn't be much changes that affect Traktor, although something might probably will.

If you have tried it please let me know how it has been working for you.

    Thanks!

So far I'm running OS X EL Capitan Beta WITHOUT A SINGLE GLITCH. It's actually snappier than Yosemite and cpu usage is GREAT! I'll let u know if anything breaks.

El Crap-itan BETA is way too buggy for everyday use. I have El Capitan on my work Mac it's just too buggy to be a BETA it feels a lot like an Alpha release. Traktor works for me but, Chrome, Mail, Sophos and a lot of other apps either don't work or just crash all the time.

    You've been warned!

    Precisely.

If I hear any whining about Traktor and this OS I'll just delete the post. This is a beta OS.
Do what you want but don't anybody get all hissy if Traktor doesn't work all dandy.

I am just pre-empting the usual crud we get when people update an OS before it's officially approved. It always happens. :(

Give the beta a shot. Make sure you put it on your one and only mac which you haven't backed up in forever. Let me know how it works out.

Good for you but, you know you just clicked on a Mac OS X thread to comment on how you don't want a Mac. Do you see the irony in that?

I don't see how an OS update would resolve a latency issue within the software/hardware chain.

Actually, it doesn't work. Well Traktor work but Z1 looses connection after a short while. It' a known USB-issue in the betas up until today. Seems all USB audio devices and many other USB devices have issues.

So I just finished playing a Fashion Show. I had a hard time getting sound out of my Z1 and during rehearsals my Z1 - in the middle of a track - simply stopped sending sound to the main mixer. Signal in, blue lights on the channel, no software problems, but the Z1 was acting very strange.

Im on the 10.11 - 15A234d - which I think is the 3rd El Capitan BETA. I haven't updated to the latest Traktor build, which was out this week or the 4th Beta yet. Will try that now.

I know this is a Traktor thread and I had no issues with the software, but thought I'd share anyway.

There are known usb audio device issues with 10.11, all the betas so far. They drop audio, just as you have described. Hopefully you have a working backup :) Don't use El Cap for live stuff.

Ahh.. That makes sense. I have massive USB Flashdrive problems too. You've wouldn't happen to know if they've fixed it for the Public Beta 4?

And yes, never use the BETA for live stuff. I'm an idiot.

Did a 4 hours session yesterday after the 4th El Capitan update - using both X1 and Z1. No issues what so ever...
