Traktor Pro 2 freezing when using Traktor Kontrol S4 (When doing too many actions)

Hi guys, this is my first post.

I just purchased the S4 and installed TP2 on my laptop. I am using a Dell Latitude E6410.

TP2 works fine when my controller isnt connected and im setting up beatgrids and cues.

However, when i connect my S4, it will be problem free until about 1-2 hours of use. Specifically, the audio stops and the decks on my screen show the play button flashing, but the waveform disappears/stops moving and i cant load any tracks or anything.

Ive noticed this happen quite a few times when using the fader knobs. Also occurs if im doing alot of actions at one time.

No crash logs or error logs are generated from this crash/freeze

I think i may have found the issue. I think i was experiencing USB latency issues. I increased my usb buffer rate and my problem has been solved for now.

I will do longer stress tests soon to make sure everything is good.

As of right now, i have replicated scenarios where traktor froze and everything is all good

 

how did you resolve that problem im also having that issue !

 

turn on ur S4, and launch traktor pro 2. go into settings and in output, near the latency area, u shud see another button that says settings.

press it, and another window will open, its the S4 control panel. from here, u shud see USB buffer rate, increase it by 1 and stress test again.

if it is still freezing, increase by 1.
