Traktor Pro 2 ID3 issues

Hi,
I am new to the whole Traktor game so bare with me. I have noticed while using Traktor Pro 2 when I load MP3 tracks into the decks when I switch them for others a red bar flashes up (where the Analyse bar is) giving me a message say the ID3 tag could not be saved. Does any one have this problem and does anyone know how I can remedy it? I am presuming that none of the grid or hotcue are being saved to my ID3 tag each time this happens .

You will need to make sure the files are not write protected and that they are not on a folder on your disk that traktor cannot write to.

 

Count Zero I can access them through 'Explorer', but I thought the whole idea was to use the 'Track Collection'?
I have realised since I posted that the reason that the ID3 tag were not saving was they have to be loaded to your 'Collection' for the to happen. Still haven't worked out how to sort that out yet

 

Just because you can read the files doesn't mean you can write to them. Check the files don't have a read-only flag set or that the security on the files only allows reading.

And yes the collection is the way to go.
