Traktor Pro 2 - No Sound :-(

i have never tried uploading a photo from the phone, but this should also work.
screenshots of the prefs are still important.

also, what hardware do you use? what mapping?

 

I tried screen shots.. When I choose file and hit OK.. It just times out. Lol... Anyways.. Hardware is 2 Gemini cdj 700s.. My mixer is a Behringer ddm4000 which is an external midi mixer.. So for software to work.. I had to buy a midi interface.. Which is a M-audio 2x2 midisport. .. The mapping I use comes off Geminisound.com website directly.. It's there tsi files.. There are four files.. One for each deck upto four... All is working now... Minus for some reason deck B - right side.. It's jog wheel is acting super sensitive.. When I move it.. Say rewind motion.. It takes a track at 140bpm and brings it down to 80bpm.. I tried then hitting my vinyl button to see if that would Maybe change it.. But instead it makes it worse.. Acts as a full on fast-forward or rewind feature.. Kind of like with some units that have the touch strip search bar.

 

I have this same problem with my new Gemini CDMP-7000.

When I nudge the left deck all is ok in that it adjusts the pitch about 1-2% so you can adjust the timing of the track in the small amount needed, but on Deck B if I do the same it pitches it up by 40-50% so you have no way of trying to keep the tracks in time.

Also deck B works in the reverse to deck a, in that if I nudge the jog wheel forwards on Deck B instead of speeding it up it slows it down.

No word from Gemini in 3 days, looks like I will have to hook back up my S4.

 

Jason.. That's how I been able to manage.. Hook back up my ns6.. Or use my serato scratch live. And I'm good.. And I been talking to Gemini for months.. If you talk to a angel.. He's OK.. But not really friendly.. Unless you kinda get mean with him.. But he wasted 6months of my time trying to fix a different issue

 

Five days later I finally get some (basic) support from Gemini, not through their own website or support email system, but Facebook messaging !!!!!!!!

So I asked

"Can you please enlighten me then as to the problem with the right deck nudging at +40% and the wrong way that it should be nudging it, I have come across 3 separate posts of users also describing this fault. is it a mapping or firmware problem. Can you yourselves confirm this with your own unit or that it functions properly."

They replied

"This specific issue is 100% a mapping issue."


And that was that, well that wasn't great support.

 

No hate.. Lol... Your like 100 steps behind me with this.. Trust me.. I expunged all resources with Gemini.. They told me that a long time ago.. Passed me to traktor.. Traktor.. Said the tsi files are made by Gemini.. Go to Gemini.. Worked with a dude by the. Name angel.. Through email.. For about 6months..during that whole process he never felt till then to ask about my mixer... Which I told him was an external midi mixer... Once I told him that.. He was like yep.. I can't help you... When he really ment he doesn't know how.. He kept thinking my midi interface.. Was my midi fighter spectra.. -_- all I can say is buddy.. Traktor needs to help us. And a seasoned vet.. Not these idiots that got the job and hate it.

 

I know how to fix this if anyone still needs help, I don't have the time to write it out but if you still need help just msg me on facebook
