TRAKTOR PRO 3.5.2 Officially released on Native Access

Dear Traktorists,

today is a great day, because so many things come together:

• thanks to your support, we have released the 3.4.1 compatibility update last week enabling Apple M1 compatibility for the TRAKTOR Pro software
• 2 days ago Apple has released macOS 11.2 enabling Big Sur compatibility for the S4MK3
• and today we have received a thumbs-up from our QA department that conducted in-depth test of all TRAKTOR hardware on Apple M1 computers.

This allows us to declare full Big Sur and Apple Silicon / Rosetta 2 compatibility for all TRAKTOR products as of today.

We want to thank everybody who participated in this Public Beta test for their contribution to this achievement. Also if you participate just silently your usage data allow us to spot issues and react to them before the release.

We’d like to encourage you to stay tuned on this forum and report issues specific to the new platforms, that may only become evident a bit further down the line. We are here, monitoring your feedback which is always of great value for us.

So the usual question is: What’s next…?

We have already started working on the next thing and are sure it’s going to make many of you happy. It’s going to take us a few weeks before we can issue a new beta, but I can say so much - it’s going to be a version 3.5 this time.

They've actually said it's coming so personally I'm happy with "when it's ready and working well".

Someone promised a major update in a few weeks, but it not happened. Another empty promise?

 

Probably just a "not properly set deadline" but let's hope something is coming...

 

Relaaaax....why the aggressive expectation? Accusation and scolding never helped anyone, it's not 6 months or anything. This is building software not baking a cake. People say they want to be kept in the loop so they do but keep on like this and Friedemann and the team will stop doing that.

Bro, I have no aggression, I wrote this seriously without a negative connotation. I understand that software takes time, but when compare how much time has passed and what functions they added, it's just ridiculous, I want to emphasize again, I'm not in the mood to discount the work of traktor developers, it's just that what they do for a year can be done in couple of weeks.

Hey, all good, I'm not going to change your mind, just seeing repeated posts poking about broken promises seems more like venting than anything constructive. Yes development seems slow and there are features that seem waaaaay overdue but what do I know of their dev team size, process, budget, covid etc etc. Maybe you do as apparently it can be done in a couple of weeks....I don't know.
Anyway, what changes are you so desperate for or expecting?

 

s4mk3 pitch zero pith light fix
pitch range options
software doesn't open up with sync enabled in remix decks
change hot cue colours (because its so confusing but when I map hot cues and loops it randomly it still selects Blue Yellow and Green?...not confusing?)
font size selection?
improvements to haptic feedback
deck layout view options (play / loop bar not needed with s4 mk3 or as someone else pointed out FX/GLOBEL section side by side)

 

what isn't working for you with this?

 

In TT mode the pitch zero LED is on or off all the time, not showing the actual zero position. It turns on at zero, and off when moved, in JOG mode, but in TT mode it doesn't work at all for me at least.

 

Can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE integrate CDJ 3000 HID support.

there are so many venues that have these as new standards and I am unable to use them.
Any news on a planned update and a potential date ?
