TRAKTOR PRO 3.5.2 Officially released on Native Access

Three months later, and no news on the BETA for 3.5.

Sending good vibes to the Traktor team but would be nice to get an update, since this thread started with "in a few weeks" and that hasn't been met.

CDJ3000 HID
Denon SC6000 HID / LC6000 support
Elastic Beatgrids
Ability for Traktor Decks to be the MASTER when Link is enabled, so DJs can finally use Soundswitch with Traktor flawlessly.

Can we hope for any of these hotly requested features to be in Traktor 3.5?

 

Hopefully they do the elastic beatgrids.. That's the only chance this software will survive. And let's hope for some news soon.. Maybe they wanted to say "in a few months"

This does not contain the above listed features, which are all totally valid requests, but streaming integration has been a long overdue stepping stone for us to, make TRAKTOR ready for the future.

 

don't just stop there HID support for literally every thing denon makes

 

this is very strange, you promised a lot of improvements and a big major update, and presented two of the most unused streaming services. Where is the soundcloud, tidal, deezer, Apple music?

the traktor is dead

 

where are the many-years requested features like variable beat-grids, tagging tracks, related tracks search etc.. let's hope it's coming... I don't think traktor will survive without the ability to set variable BPM grids. and it needs to happen very soon.

And I completely understand you, if NI doesn't have real working in clubs djs, why don't they just check the forum about what people really want?

 

Sold my S8, bought Pioneer ddj RR and return to Rekordbox. I will come here sometimes to watch the traktor era fade away

What is Rekodbox giving you that Traktor hasn't?
I tried Rekordbox for a week and quickly retreated back to Traktor. I am a Live Open Format Remix DJ, so (for me) no other software (yet) can compete with Traktor's Remix Decks & Sync.

I'm curious of your view.

 

Traktor 3.4.2 256 everything works fine, but as soon as the key is used on any of the decks, the processor load increases greatly and this happens even when there is silence in the track and attach a hot cue to a clean area and push it several times the load increases above 50% even from the laptop keyboard and when all devices are disconnected. But if you change the delay parameter from 512 to 256, the load is surprisingly reduced, but artifacts and freezes appear in the sound in a random way.

Why have you decided to update 13 year old codebase with new features when it's obvious it is not worth the time and effort to do so? What was the point of Traktor DJ 2? Honestly, this doesn't feel like a big code rewrite that you were talking about that would allow you to finally modernize Traktor, this feels like you shoved in a feature into that 13 year old code and barely made it work.

I have been using Serato next to Traktor for few months now and I can tell you the grass ain't greener over there.

Traktor is still top of the bill DJ software. Sure, there is room for improvement but it's getting better with each update.

 

Scratch-E Con … you are so Right … i am playing in serato and recordbox …… the best library Management is still in Traktor … no greener Grass over there ✌️

 

when someone still says that the traktor is the best software or that the traktor is better than the rekordbox, I want to help you with a free lesson to smash your pink world

 

Rekordbox has two powerful tools for managing the library:
- Filter track
- Personal tags
which makes it the best among the competitors for storing music and high-quality multi-level, complex sorting. There are other features that I can love RB for, but these two are already enough.

 

Paul Oakenfold it also has related tracks. Browser of Recordbox is simply much better. Let's hope Traktor will catch up, and instead of useless features they finally give what people requested for years.
Btw I can work-around almost anything that I can do in Recordbox, using very smart way of writting comments, artist, title, album, etc.. But.. it's a work-around, and it requires a lot of work.

 

After my NI Traktor support experience so far I can confirm, you took the right decision.
I don't know how NI is structured but at least they need better decisions in product design.

 

You may be right but the problem is:

- NI is taking absolute irrational decisions in product design.
- After all this long waiting again a big disappointment for loyal Traktor Pro user.
- Support is reacting ridiculous on request to fix existing bugs
- ...

this list could be continued with many facts.

But we all know. Hope dies last

 

Maybe NI will getting a percentage if someone subscribed is using Traktor.
To be honest, I don't get why I would pay $30 + $20 a month for streaming songs form Beatport if I can get it from Soundcloud with GO+ or from Tidal for much more less.

Can someone explain to me why I would prefer Beatport Link or Beatsource Link over the other ?
