At the moment Traktor Pro 3 is too dark for me.
It would be desirable for me if one could change the colors like in Ableton or similar.
Parties don't just take place in the dark.
When it's sunny, you can't operate the tractor very well.

At least make one skin "Sunny" with increased readability in the open sun.

Quick mockup what a ''sunny/bright'' theme could look like:

A night an day skin would be fine.
But skins can be really annoying which can make the software look cheap.
Maybe why NI has kept kind of a uniform look throughout all the software and most hardware.
We definitely don't need 80s keyboards. Lol
But I agree maybe 3 choices.

There are far more pressing issues for the devs to take care off than superfluous stuff like 'skins', just my opinion.

Too bad you can't see the other issues in sunlight.

Please have an option for a lighter mode. Orange and black is difficult for me to read in the day light as well

Also, I would prefer in the current black version that the text and numbers are displayed in more saturated white, because now it is soft-white and it looks a little muddy for me

This is correct to some point. However, it also inverts the collors of the waveforms (I use it as viusal representation of frequencies to some extent), color coded tracks and elements of the UI. All we really need is the "day mode" like Seratos, just to have some clear view at daytime. Not a deal breaker gor me, but it would be nice to have it implemented properly. Your workaround is great btw, dope idea!

that's why i use an app called NegativeScreen, it has a mode that inverts only the lightness, not the colors!

Hm, after a short google session, it seems to be available for Windows only, right?

Let me throw in two points you should consider ..

    1. NI has a really nice and logical CI (Corporate Identity)
Where Everything has a place, a color - and of course:
    -> A Function.

You Guys are aware, that a bright skin consumes a lot of energy, right ? Right.

.. and i absolutely agree with someone's "once you go skins - it's getting cheap".

Go and find ONE other DJ-Solution like Traktor,
where logic is the base for functionality.
    The Result is: "Balance"

Adding Gimmics has never been a trade of NI, so why start now ?

Just because, something might be possible, it doesn't
mean it is probable.. right ?

not the coolest response of a goa buddha, but yeah, you're right. i should look for another solution to find my inner peace with djing in the sunlight / daytime.

    Good tip
It's more elaborate than my workaround, but worth it
