    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make Traktor Pro 3 work on the new Macbook Pro with M1 Pro chips and I seem to be experiencing following issues:
    - No playback of track (I can load them to the decks but the sound doesn't play nor do the play/cue buttons reacts)
    - Interface freezes when changing preferences

Does anyone else have this? Is it just a question of incompatibility with the latest macbooks?

    Thanks in advance.

I've just moved to Monterey on both machines and my MBA with the M1 (not Pro) chip is running like a champ. Have you grabbed the latest release from the last couple of days?

Hey man, thank you for the feedback.
I was playing around with my setup and was able to isolate the issue. The culprit is/was my Komplete Audio 6 MK1 audio interface.

I swapped out the audio interface and everything worked as intended. I guess I need to decommission my loyal KA6, served me well for many years.

Congrats on figuring it out! I've got a stack of cards from the original Audio8 that are retired due to OS but they look so nice so I keep them to make my "studio" look more legit.

New here: Just picked up Traktor Pro 3 a week ago. Running the new Macbook 14 M1 pro and I cannot get anything to work properly. I've had the same issues as the original poster. However, I haven't even hooked up a controller yet. Some tracks will load, but not play. Other tracks give me issues with the ID3 tags. Plus the program constantly freezes. I downloaded the newest version, but still no luck. For the hell of it I downloaded djay Pro, to see if it was an issue with my Macbook or itunes library, and everything on djay Pro worked flawlessly. Really want to get Traktor to work, but I'm almost thinking of just shelving it for a while until they get the bugs worked out.

While I haven't heard much about the M1, it seems those reporting issues tend to have the Pro. I don't think the official NI support for M1 is there yet in any case but going by the few Logic groups I'm on the Pro variant seems to be causing odd behaviour with audio.

Sorry I realize the above isn't much help. Have you tried disabling Multi Core support and restarting Traktor?

Doing a fresh install wouldn’t hurt. It also wouldn’t hurt to look at your activity monitor to see if there might be a clue to the issue.

Other than apple’s poster child algoriddim, which is basically a Mac specialty, most other software systems have to take a bit of time to catch up to frequent changes that Apple makes. Traktor, serato and vdj all have to work around 3 different platforms and unfortunately the type of manpower available to big tech to move on updating quickly is not available to small tech like Traktor, serato and vdj.

Everything works on my m1 and the latest OS from my testing. But I don’t DJ from the m1 so I probably won’t see some of the issues that others experience.

Hi Everyone, 1st time posting. Im running a 2020 13'' M1 Macbook Pro and the text resolution is horrible. Ive tried messing in the settings but no luck. For comparison, I took a screenshot of the text from the free "Traktor DJ 2" and "Tracktor Pro".....the text resolutions is much higher on the free app than the pro app. Does anyone know how to fix it?

    These are from Traktor Pro:

There is no fix. Traktor Pro didn't get Retina support yet. Traktor Pro is older than Traktor DJ.
Traktor DJ has a better resolution because it was build natively for iPads and their higher resolution displays.
I guess we have to wait for a big major update (Traktor Pro 4 ??).

I don't think that will happen anymore. They've been asking people who use Apple devices since Retina came out, and somehow Native Instruments seems to be satisfied with it. Which if you think about it is not very consumer friendly. I think a lot of people would jump in the triangle if everything was finally nice and sharp, like every other program on my Macbook. There is basically no software on my Macbook that is that ugly in terms of surface resolution.
Many others probably think there are enough other issues to tackle, but that's what I would be most happy about and the native Apple M1 support. Who knows, maybe with the native M1 support we finally get a sharp font and interface.

Hi guys I just bought a new MacBook Pro with M1 Pro chip I have problem with buggy TRAKTOR Pro 3 on it. Very buggy lags all the time and not responding. Loaded tracks aren't playing. Is there any solution to this? I'm on the latest MAC OS and Traktor 3.5.2
