Traktor Pro 3 wishlist

I'm all about playlists and keeping my collection nice and sorted - therefor I have several suggestions for future versions.

1. Smart playlists. The ability to manage what words, comments etc to a smart playlist like the one "genre" that's already in the main list.

Example: I live in south of Sweden and we are pretty good at making club music even in our native tongue. So are the Danish just 20 minutes away. It's very common to play tracks sung in both Swedish and Danish. If there was a column (or the column where added by user, or renamed and old one) for language I could easily sort out a Swedish song when someone requests one. Add with a Smart playlist that automatically sorted out the information in the new column "Language".

3. As above - the ability to make you own new columns or rename existing that I don't use. "Producer" is one that I don't use and put other info in.

4. A column that reads Mixed In Keys Energy level.

5. Several "views" or "work spaces" in the browser that you could switch between.

6. Shortcuts to jump to the different columns.

7. The ability to make you own Macro FX. Perhaps there's already is a way - but I can't find it.

let them do smart playlist before version 3. Remember they said they would have this feature years ago so I don't want to pay additional money just for smart playlists.

more midi routing options for use any controler and maschine´s in sync modus. that can help many dj´s for traktor and live sessions

 

stacked wave forms, I doubt since traktor is based on the phase meter and not stacked waveforms

For pure GUI good looks I want stacked waveforms, not the way Serato has them, which is very cool however IMO

Hi everybody,

My one and only wish with Traktor is to be able to display 4 FX Units in SINGLE Mode side by side and not 4 tiny FX units like it is now.
I hava a retina display and there is room for that. Full FX units could also float down under if there is no room left if the display is too small:

FX1___FX2___Center Module___FX3___FX4

or (if display is too small)


FX 1____Center Module____FX3
FX 2___________________FX4


NI just need to add a tickbox in the settings menu for that.

Hey !, i think it would be nice to add in an Unique Visualization Effects that sync in with the Equalizer.
with Video out ports of some sort in the settings - To connect projectors or tele's to save resources on running other software to do so.

 

Please i need that you guys support video so i don't have to go serato or mixvibes

 

There are just a few things I want:
DAW integration through Traktor VST plugin.
There is currently no way to use the hardware in any DAW to my knowledge.

Onboard visualizer support
Display nice and groovy visualizer synced to the music directly in Traktor.

8 cue points on controller
For remixes there is nothing that really bothers me as much as having only 4 cue points.

 

High Definition scratch for all controllers!!except for controllers supported by NI like the S2,S4,some Numark and Pionner controllers have HD resolution in scratch,all other dont. please NI open up the code!!!

 

smart play lists have been requested too many times already , it's up to n.i. to do it .

 

Guys i hate being a spoil sport, but we dont want NATIVE INSTRUMENTS traktor to give it all away do we, dont you like to feel unique, i hope and i know they wont make it too easy for you . but do your research and youl soon find out that -
1- smart playlisting excists, But you have to use external software such as itunes to do it
2- VST's Excist , but youl also have to dig deeper how to do so, ill give you a hint , it requires another peace of software
3- how can you not figure out how to have 8 cue points, go to settings and learn how to Map your controllers if they dont work.

keep your head in the game and youl find what you need, its nice to feel rewarded no?, and feel unique yes?

 

It'd be amazing if the NI team could include the Braking on play button, much like in Serato. Truth is there's a lot of cool stuff you'd enable us to do, most famous use being, for example: braking + loop roll in flux mode.

 

We need flexible Beat Grids like Serato !!
