    WOW! This is really GREAT!
I have Traktor 3.3 + cycokraut and it was really easy to get Traktor PRO working! Just imported 2 files! :) Great work man, thanks!
But can you make same config for 2 decks? Not everybody needs 4 decks, like me, for example :)))

    Glad you like it :D
But I was not planning on making a 2 deck control.

You could adapt the sceen layout to 2 deck and not use the Deck swithing buttons. ;)

Has anyone figured out how to get a modifier button to work without having to always hold it down?

    Hi.

If you want to permanent switch (toggle) a Modifier you have to use
Interaction Mode Direct with your Button instead of Hold.
In addition you must duplicate your Modifier-Button to toggle (off) the Modifier.

The following works great for me...

    1. Modifier #1, Interaction Mode: Direct, Type: Button, M1=0, Set to value: 1
    2. Modifier #1, Interaction Mode: Direct, Type: Button, M1=1, Set to value: 0

...should be also work for you. ;)

    Nice. Thanks!
    ---

I'm also having an issue with the SCRATCH button.
When I press it, and the use the Jog Wheel to scratch, the deck stops playing while I scratch and then continues playing, disabling the "scratch" function as soon as I'm done.

What I'd like to happen is when I press the SCRATCH button, the deck continues to play and I can scratch using the jog. This stays enabled until I press the SCRATCH button again.

Yes, in this version of traktor the scratch behaviour has changed, the old way was better for mee too. Maybe this has changed 'cause of the implementation of vinil control :-(

Daksha's solutions works great! Scratching on a BCD seems "mission impossible" so no comments on that ... :)

Planning on buying a VCI-300, the BCD had his days ... and now got myself some realy fiddle-free knobs :D

    Less plastic = more fun!

    Hey everyone,

I'm currently using Dashka's fix for the bcd + traktor pro. I followed everything on the guide exactly how it was supposed to be installed and everything works except the jogwheel fix isn't working (it is only going backwards) and the buttons sometimes don't respond.

I press the buttons and sometimes they respond after one press but sometimes it takes three or four times for the button to actually work. Is this normal for traktor + bcd use? I would love to be able to use traktor and the bcd but with these buttons not responding always, it sucks :(.

Does anyone know if i did something wrong? I have the jogwheel fix running, all the correct settings, and midi yoke using 1 input. do i have to change latency or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Hi marcoabuso! I work with bcd 2000 & traktor pro, daksha fix work perfect with old version of TSP. but with this one 1.1.1 the jogs works good only like CD-JOG/PITCH bEND , on other function like seeking or wind deck its work only in one direction((. I dont know why. May be because support of 14-bit midi signals. So i returned to old version.

BCD2000 Traktor Pro 1.1.1 Jog Wheel Fix

    Hey People,

I created a fix for the backwards-only problem with the jog wheels of the BCD2000. It uses MIDI Translator classic with the project attached to this post. It has worked perfectly for me in many long gigs with Traktor Pro 1.1.1.

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Install and run MIDI Translator Classic (available here).
    2. In MIDI Translator, load the Hurda Translator Rules.bmtp file
    2. In MIDI Translator, select MIDI In as BCD2000
    3. In MIDI Translator, select MIDI Out as MIDI Yoke 1 (or Maple Midi 1, depending on which one you're using).
    4. In Traktor Pro, select device from #3 above as the only MIDI input device
    5. In Traktor Pro, select BCD2000 as your only MIDI Output device.
    6. In Traktor Pro, import the MIDI mapping settings from the Hurda TPro MIDI Mappings.tsi file. The mappings are detailed in the document included in the zip file. If you prefer to keep your current MIDI mappings, then skip this step and edit your own jog wheel functions using the MIDI Learn function in Traktor.

    TECHNICAL EXPLANATION
Traktor Pro does not properly recognise the MIDI messages coming from the BCD2000. The translator rules file consists of 4 rules (wheel back/forth for two deck channels) that map these messages onto another set of messages that Traktor Pro can interpret.

Please give it a spin, and let me know what you think.

To tell the truth, I have one, but after10-15 minutes using it, in midi rules appears error:
Exception in thread “main” java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfMemory...(and 10 more lines of errors), and BCD stop working. And I don't know wht to do...

Onyx, I don't there is a MIDI Rules set for Traktor Pro yet. You can try my solution above, using Bome's MIDI translator Classic (instead of MIDI rules).

If you try it, make sure that you select 'MIDI Thru' and 'Enable Active Sensing' under the Options menu of MIDI Translator. Good luck!

    Here's mine for 1.1.1

Thanks go to Hurda for the file for Bomes to make the wheels work.
Run in BDJ mode for LEDs to work and single button presses to activate the BCD, as described by Hurda ;)

I've included 2 versions. 1 with the upfaders for all 4 decks on the top FX section of the BCD like a rotary mixer with the corresponding buttons for cue (monitor) control and used the upfaders for wet/dry FX.
The other version I've put FX1 and FX2 on FXA and FXD on the BCD using their buttons for wet/dry, deck C and D upfaders and cueing on FXB and FXC, deck A and B cueing on the analogue inputs and used the upfaders as upfaders for a change ;)

    FX mode
Activate FX mode with the scratch button.
U can run with either chained or advanced FX on either panel via options.
In FX mode the Eqs and kills become the FX knobs and buttons while FX select are controlled by search, bend and analogue input buttons. Gain becomes filter and back to top is the filter swtich button.

    Loop mode
Activate loop mode with the Loop in/end button.
In Loop mode I've set the Low Eq knob to set the loop size and the Low kill button for loop activation. Mid eq knob for beatjump size and the Mid and High kills for forward and back (u need beatjump selected in the dropdown for this to work).
Drop cue points with the cue button and switch between prev/next cue with the bend buttons. Del cues with the loop out button. Jump to act cue is now on the sync slave button. Gain becomes Key and back to top is the key switch button.

    Browser mode
Activate browser with phones/split button. Use the left wheel for the left pane and the right wheel for the right pane, expand and collapse the dir tree with the left search buttons. Load to a free deck with the cue buttons.

    LEDs
I couldn't solve the multiple modifier LED issue without a major remapping job so the MID and LOW LEDs light for Loop mode, the Loop out and Sync slave LEDs light for FX mode, and the Scratch button LED will light for either mod.
The Low kill LED shows when a loop is active.
All the normal LEDs without modifiers work as you expect altho there is a crossover from having advanced and chained FX mapped in the same map so the analogue input LED toggles as u select FX when chained FX is selected.

    Issues to be fixed
The scratch button doesn't quite work right but I've left it there incase NI fix the issue or we find a workaround. I wanted to be able to drop an exlcusion or jump point too but we're still waiting on that 1 aswell so it's set to jump to active cue for now.
It can startup out of sync when u first import the map so u may need to activate browser mode or deck focus with the mouse to sync up the jogwheels.

I'd like to say thanks to ChefT aswell for his help and letting me fill his server with earlier revisions

    Updated to 112

Included 3 different 4 deck maps this time with the 4 upfaders in different layouts to suit different physical layouts.
Made a few small tweaks for better 112 functionality - scratch button works a little better, faster browser jogs, removed software takeover where possible, swapped a few toggle and hold commands around to fit with the 112 changes.

I have Native Instruments Traktor DJ Studio 3.3.2, and two MIDI controllers: Behringer BCD3000 and Behringer BCD2000, but I can't get them to work so I can have control over 4 decks, which was the original idea.

I tried to make the BCD3000 in control of decks A and B, and BCD2000 in control of decks C and D, but it won't do. When I try to set up the commands in Traktor 3 Preferences>MIDI Setup it seems that they both respond on the same settings. I tried adding the controls for Deck C, for example, I add EQ low, select Deck C, click on Learn and when I move the Low EQ knob on my BCD2000 it responds, but it automaticaly moves the Low EQ knob for Deck A, because that are the original settings for BCD3000.

It seems that both MIDI controllers share the same inputs, and that it can only be solved by using the MIDI Yoke, or some program like that. But, I'm not quite sure how to do that. Any help?
