I have got Traktor Pro , also a BCD 3000 and I have a iMac running Leopard 10.5.5
I can't get the BCD to control anything on Traktor Pro . The MIDI signal is lighting up with any button I press so it knows its there
I can control everything with the mouse like headphone mix / volume the crossfade , and mix tunes , but the BCD won't control any function.
I have read on this forum about the .tks files and they solve the problem but how do I use them ? Is it a PC only file .
I have Traktor DJ Studio 3 and it all works ok , not great as no lights come on on the controller but really want to get pro to work .
Can someone advise me please .

    Thank you

For Traktor Pro you need a .tsi file... as far as I know there is none yet from NI.

    Native_Girl, any news about this?

    Thanks for the reply .

I have no idea how to make a .tsi file or what one really is . I'll have a good read of the manual as there must be something in there I have missed .

Are other controllers compatible with Traktor Pro ?
Its such a great bit of software I really love using it but would love to use a controller with it .
    Thanks

    BCD control?

This may be obvious to alot of frequent users: but as a casual user I also had trouble selecting my BCD 3000. I had hi-lighted it before but... I had to select - (mark X) in the box to the left of the BCD 3000 to control in the midi set-up. I also didn't see the "midi" light lit up when I hooked up my BCD 3000, but the Mac audio setup did, so I thought that Tractor didn't see it. It turns out that the Midi light (in Tractor) only lights up when you press a (midi) button on the BCD 3000. These were the 2 things that I first ran in to. I hope that it this helps

Has anyone else run into headphone/cue Bleed though? All of my cueing comes though my headphones AND on the master out... ?
    thanks,

I have a good general TSI for the BCD3000

You can also find help here in the forum:

It sounds like you have your audio settings wrong. Firstly, you should disable the soundcard on your laptop/pc in device settings. Set the BCD software to Standard Mode. In Taktor's Audio Settings make sure you have the BCD selected. Then in Output Routing set the Output Monitor to chan's 3&4 and Master to chan's 1&2. You should be using the outputs on the mixer. OR...... you could be using the Phones Mix wrong.
