    Hey everyone.

I'm beginning to freak out as I have a gig coming up within a week. I just upgraded to Traktor Pro several weeks ago...have spent a lot of time getting my library in order. I just updated all of my "club" files and now I want to add all of my "house" tracks to my collection to start updating the ID3 tags and artwork.

I didn't have a single problem adding my club tracks to my collection. However, I when I tried to load all of my house tracks in to my collection tonight, Traktor Pro would start to analyze the folder where all of the files were stored and would get about halfway through...and then crash. It happened about 5 times in a row. I have all of the most recent updates for my Mac and for Traktor...and for the life of me, I can't figure out the problem. I thought maybe it was a corrupt MP3 file. I removed the file it kept stopping on and then I realized that the analyzing kept crashing on each file thereafter.

Mind you, I haven't had a single problem with Traktor 3 and my MacBook Pro. I wanted to upgrade because the folks at NI kept promoting how flawless this program would operate. Out of the gate, it's given me nothing but trouble and I haven't even used it at a gig yet.

    Thoughts?

My system: 2006 MacBook Pro, 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 500GB storage.

I had the same problem, and like you I started by removing the file it crashed on and starting again. I checked the offending files, even re-ripping them, but to no avail, they still crashed TP? Eventually I re-installed TP and up to now the problem seems to have gone. I have to admit though I'm still cautious with using Pro at a gig, preferring my Traktor 3.4.
