Traktor Pro feedback thread - post your impressions here!

Yeah there was a problem. It was fixed about 5 months ago.

 

+1 there's no problems with registering and if they took the registration process out the way i'm sure it would be easier to crack the program which is something NI and paying customers would not like.

It doesn't take long, it's not hard, so it's a bit of a null point being made imo

The only thing i had problems with was the download process of upgrades, maybe NI could give priority downloads to people with registered copies of programs than the millions of people downloading free trials?

 

I see this as a good thing. That this much time and this many people have been focused on a non-issue.

Slow forums=good software!

 

The Demo generally comes out after the Full program so that doesnt usually slow downloads down.

Admittedly the download can be slow when we all hit it at once but i think you find that with a lot of things. Popularity is a curse sometimes

Anyhoo i agree with buggles, back to the point of the thread eh.!

 

Only problem I have is that I cannot post in the OTR sessions.

 

Why ? Is it because your status is not NI Product Owner?

Hello everyone,
I just want to express some of my impressions on Traktor Pro.
Where to start,i 've been using Traktor since the early versions then move on to Traktor Scratch then move on to Traktor Pro, i Know there's some people that has been having problems of configuration ,most cases i really think it's the non reading of the manual i know there was some bugs and there is still some but the future looks real bright to me .

Traktor Pro it's an amazing software with millions of possibilities ,you can use it in a very simple way or very complex ,for those who talk about serato and compare,i think they should get the Traktor Scratch Duo if you like to compare cause Traktor Pro it's now millions of light pass what Serato offers (unless you have a small bar and you have Scratching Djs Playing along serato videff course it's harder to configure then serato,like maybe the need of a better workstation,more ram etc.. ,That is because maybe cause Serato doesn't do a third of what TP can do ?
If you wanna do live sets,TP is the best thing out there,i also use Ableton but for now, in my opinion TP i'ts working real good ,way more intuitive and fun to dj .
Taking full advantage of it's capacities opens a whole world of possibilities , in my opinion.Also with this new version a lot of the techniques used in Ableton can no be performed in TP.
The effects are amazing just using those effects in chain and exploring the advanced mode .. slowly learning how everything works and the things you can do with it .The ways you can map all those Midi controllers ,i really hope for an update on the effects .I would love to have all those effects individually on each channel ,but i have heard that it's coming in the next update..Is that true?And anyone knows when that"s gonna be?

When i am Djing with Traktor Pro i fell like i am playing an instrument .
I know TP it's not perfect but just to see this huge update and visualizing where it's coming gives me goosebumps .

I recommend if i may,(for easy configurations running very stable ) anyone playing with 2 decks to go for Traktor Duo ,or if you don't wanna use effects and 2 decks serato may be a good choice as well .
For people who wants to use 4 decks and embrace the new Era of Djing Traktor Pro all the way .

I wanna thank Native Instruments For Traktor Pro And for what's to come .
