traktor pro full screen mode and osx spaces (MBP)

Hi,

When I toggle into full screen mode and move to another 'screen' using the osx spaces and switch back to the traktor space i get a blank screen. Traktor is still alive but just not visible. I suspect if I knew the key press to toggle traktor back out of full screen mode I could resolve the issue.

Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution ?

This something for which people have been asking for a good long while now, I believe it was evident even in the original Traktor3/Traktor Scratch days. No solution as yet; I've turned off spaces for the time being myself.
I believe you can assign a key to bring Traktor in and out of fullscreen mode, but I can't say whether or not it fixes the issue as I've never tried.

 

thanks Telly, i tried assigning a key to fullscreen but it didnt do anything !

the simple solution is to exit full screen mode before using spaces.

 

i usually just hide traktor when it's a blank screen (apple+h) and bring it back up and it usually works. annoying, and it shouldn't happen in the first place, but at least it's a simple fix.

 

One quick way of dealing with this (I have the same problem, although it's only just started 5 mins ago) is to use Exposé then click on the Traktor screen. I have Exposé set to show all windows on the bottom right active screen corner making it simple to get Traktor back... it's surley a fairly simple bug for NI to correct though?

 

i just noticed the same 'bug'. :-(

I have also virtual DJ and scratch live, and they have no problem with spaces...
