    Yup, that was the first step in the pdf, after setting the RMX Audio Mode to ASIO the 2nd step was the change the Audio Setup.. that hangs Traktor for an infinite time.
    :/

    Sorry for the late reply, when I firs saw that you've responded via mail this site just refused to load. x)

    Hi all, I just ordered the RMX.

    Is there an updated file I should get to get RMX to work correctly with Traktor Scratch Pro? I prefer not to have to learn how to do my own MIDI mappings.

    I am using MacbookPro and Traktor X1.

    Hi Cooldudela, You need to go to Hercules's tech support.
    But can also download this file (from Hercule's : TP_DJ_Rmx.zip)

    Dezipp it, find in the new folder the file "TP_DJ_Rmx(MAC)_v1.2.tsi" and place it in TDJ directory (to find it later easyli).
    Open TDJ Pro, go to "Preferences/ Controller - Manager/ Device Setup/ Add/ Import ..."
    and choose your new downloaded .tsi file.

    Hope it helps.
    Achilles.

    Ok guys so I got the RMX, downloaded the tsi and drivers, the whole setup took 20 minutes to get it to work with the Traktor.

    Only issue I have is when I press "Cue Select" button on either channel it also goes out to the speakers even if the channel volume slider is down. And if I press that button while volume slider is on it just gets louder in the speakers. In other words I am not able to cue a track at all.

    Another (minor) issue is that "Main Vol" slider while it does control volume in Traktor it does nothing to actual volume going to the speakers.

    Anyone can help out, maybe it's a setting or something?

    Thanks in advance.

    The RMX has a separate setup menu. It has settings and volume adjustment...

    Hi DJ Markian. I am not sure what you mean. I got latest traktor pro 1.2, all drives for RMX. Everything works except I cannot cue track in headphones without also hearing it on speakers. Basically unable to cue/select next track. Please help out.

    btw works great together with X1 - no complaints.

    Theres a separate setting preference for the RMX. BTW what are you using, MAC or PC?... also did you look at your input and output settings in traktor?... you can find the settings here
    http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=2&fid=28&pid=215&cid=5

    I hope this helps. As for that separate settings preference, when you installed the driver it will show an icon that looks like a vinyl with the word dj rmx, something like that...

    Its good to here that you are enjoying it with the X1, made a lot mixes already and had a gig with it and its just flawless... You got facebook?...

    hi DJMarkian, thanks so much for replying. I am using Mac, installed all drivers, got everything up and working. Except headphones. The "cue select" outputs into both the headphones and the speakers... The "cue select" button correctly lights up the "headphones" button on Traktor. Where is the little icon you are talking about?

    As suggested by Markian, did you look at the document provide on the Hercules SUpport site ? It explains how the configure the audio settings in Traktor , which I think is where your problem lies.

    Rmx midi mapping tsi file do not work under Traktor 1.2.4

    For those of you who have the latest Traktor 1.2.4 have you noticed that the midi mapping from tsi file build under 1.2.2 or less do not work anymore.

    Even the default one offer on the Hercules web site does not result in any MIDI mappings!

    I spend so much time in preparing my tsi file under Traktor 1.2.2. This is a real bummer. :(
    Has there been changes to the format? Is there a solution for making sure my 1.2.2 tsi file will work under 1.2.4?

    Thanks for any solutions to this problem.

    Please also let me know if there is any documents, beside the manual addendum, explaining how to create mappings under 1.2.4. Other tsi for RMX could be useful as well.

    Thanks again.

    Ben

    There were some major changes to the MIDI side between 1.1 and 1.2, but after that it should normally work (The TSI from Hercules was created with 1.2 and seems to work under 1.2.4).

    I have my RMX working with 1.2.3 and now 1.2.4 with no problems. Just follow the pdf files on how to setup up the RMX with traktor and install the TSI...

    Mine works on the latest Traktor, except for I hear cue in the speakers! Double checked settings, they are exactly per spec, and everything else seems to work. Don't know what to do!

    Last night saw Blank and Jones at Vision in Chicago and they were using Hercules+Mac+Mixer. The two CDJs weren't even on. Maybe I should have asked them:) Vision btw is a huge club, Van Buuren/Sander/all big names perform there.

    @Cooldudela

    Make sure the MONITOR knob on the Rmx is set to CUE (and make sure the Traktor interface actually apply the changes if you move it).

    @Cooldudela & @DJ Phatso

    I have the same problem. MacBook Pro with OSX 10.6.2 using Traktor Pro 1.2 with Hercules driver 1.77. The cue/mix moves on the screen while I move the knob, but the headphones play the same thing as the speakers (main mix) no matter what I do on the mixer. I have even tried swapping the front left/right and back left/right in the main/monitor setup and then I get the cue only in both the speakers and the headphones. Really strange. I contacted Hercules tech support and I hope I hear back. If I get an answer, you will find it here.

    I also get a strange buzzing sound every 15 minutes or so and the balance is not doing anything. Anyone else having this experience?

    @Osiris

    Do you have the latest update for Traktor (1.2.4) ?

    Just so we're all on the same level:

    - In Traktor, you are set to INTERNAL mixing mode, with Output 1/2 for Master and 3/4 for Monitor

    - Your speakers are connected to Output 1/2 on the back of the Rmx and your headphone to the top or front headphone output.

    - If monitoring (CUE SELECT buttons) is turned off for both decks, and the MONITOR knob is set to CUE, you shouldn't hear anything in the headphones. If you move the knob towards the MIX position, you should progressively hear the main mix according to the crossfader position.

    DUUUUUDE.. I've been on the verge of a breakdown because I couldn't figure out for the life of me why in the hell the "CTRL" light was lighting up when I'd move the controls but nothing was happening.. I pulled up the DJ RMX panel and found it was set to channel TWO!

    Thanks a million for taking the time to post what you figured out.. Most people just figure it out and go on lol

    THANK - YOU!
