Traktor Pro license bundled with D2

I have an existing Traktor Pro license which I have installed on two computers. One is a home desktop that I use when entertaining. The other is an ultrabook that either sits on my desk at work providing background or is used with an X1 and Z1 when sitting at the end of the bar at my favorite local. I read that the Traktor Pro license allows for two copies to be installed so I believe I'm compliant.

My plan is to purchase a D2 which I understand to come bundled with a Traktor Pro license. My Ultrabook doesn't meet the system requirements for the D2 and I've very recently purchased a new laptop to use with the D2 and Z1 which means I'll be adding a third system with Traktor Pro installed so I'll be needing the bundled license. In the promotional material on the web site there's a claim that the Pro license can't be sold without the hardware. I have no problem with this restriction however does this imply that the D2 must be connected to the laptop for the software to function?

 

No, don't worry. This clause is only to forbid you from buying a D2 and then selling off the Traktor license.
With 2 licenses, you may install Traktor on 4 machines - so you're good!
