I am having a nightmare with my 1D - I am trying to get my 1D to learn
    midi controls from Traktor.

I push turn but it's just not picking it up! It appears in my computer
(mac) midi interface window and in Traktor but no joy!

I have tried my 1D on Logik and it works fine and I tried my midi
keyboard on Traktor and that works fine!

I have downloaded some of the maps but they did nothing either.

Does anyone know what/where I am going wrong?

    Thanks!

Hi Jon Welcome To the Forum.

Have you imported a TSI into the Midi Mapping Section in Preferences?
Make sure these are .TSI format not .TKS (tks is for older versions of traktor)
Have you enabled the Xone in Preferences as the Midi Device ?
    Prefs>Midi Device

Maybe basic but i have to ask.

Is there a soundcard present and working with traktor when you do this?

    Good point.
Make sure the correct soundcard is enabled or your tracks wont play.

Yeah both. That should do it.
Just for safety you should always save your current TSI so that in the event of things not going right you can at least load the previous TSI and get back to were you started.

If you save your TSI youve got no worries loading another.

you might need to get another external usb powered hub to run it. I found when trying to run 2 1d's on my mac even tho it detected the 2 devices in TSP and only 1 worked. This is because they are high powered devices and ure mac cnt give out enough power to fully run them.

If not try changing the channel you are transmitting on. i think channel 1 is the default for traktor.
