i know there could be some info which i could find but i thought i just ask for a short reply:

i have a macbook pro, 2,16ghz, intel core duo, 2gb ram.
    the motherboard allows 2gb max.
i read in the beginning when leopard came out that it is heavier on ram and processor so i never updated to leopard but still run tiger (10.4.11).

will the 2gb ram as per your experience be enough to run leopard and traktor pro or does it make more sense to remain on tiger?

i would really appreciate some feedback that i can take a decission.

    thanks,

    ivo

    you'll be fine

I'm on a 15" Macbook, 2.16 Core Duo, 2GB ram. I run an Edirol FA-66 firewire audio interface very comfortably at 2.5ms. Usually play out at 4ms for some safety margin.
    Works very well with 10.5.7

The only mod I made which has improved performance and created some extra heat is using a 7200rpm laptop drive.

Go for it - no reason to hold back in my opinion

How to setup a ddm 400 mixer

How do you setup a ddm 4000 mixer from behringer to windows vista 32? Using a Tascam USB US-144 audio/midi interface? I have been trying to download all the drivers, and it says that i did, but then do i have to download the drivers for the behringer mixer? And i am not pluging the mixer straight into the usb ports in the laptop, i plug them into the tascam. What should i do to make t work so that i can use it with traktor 3.3? thanks. Mike
