I am a total noob at Traktor Pro. I just wanted to know if there is a way to continuously play a playlist without creating loops. Similar, to what you would do with Media player or iTunes. I want to be able to walk away from it with a created playlist, and then do my thing when I get back from break. Thanks for your time!:D

I've seen people get a lot of slack for this, mainly because Traktor is "DJ'ing" software, so why would youw ant "DJ'ing" software, if you just want to play something continuous like you would on iTunes...

That being said, you can use iTunes.

Once you plug in your soundcard, you can have all output sound coming out of your iTunes. Then all you need to do it click on the playlist (in iTunes), and press play.

You can even go back and forth between traktor and iTunes. Just remember to have your soundcard connected before opening iTunes otherwise it won't work.

I work at a Las Vegas casino and my department (Audio/Visual) installed a Denon DN-HC4500 with Traktor Pro to replace the Denon DN-4000 that was existing. I am not a DJ, and I am not familiar with the equipment that was installed. The “DJ” in the restaurant that the equipment was installed in, should have known how to run this gear. Come to find out that the “DJ” was the buss-boy and a host.

Anyway, the answer was found. There is somewhere in the preferences to do what they need. Thanks for everyone’s time!
    :p

    Seriously?

    Traktor has an "autoplay" option?

    This is news to me.
