Traktor Pro & Soundblaster Audigy SE - Problem

Dear Community,

i've just registered because I can't help anymore. I've browsed google and other forums so intensive but i couldn't find anything...i hope you can help me!

My problem is the following: I use Traktor Pro on my PC, WinXP, with a Soundblaster Audigy SE - soundcard. I bought that one because the on board soundcard (Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio Controller) does not work how it should: it just doesn't work properly.

I know the Audigy SE is not the best for mixing, but i'm a starter in mixing. (I've made my own music for some years)

Traktor seems not to recognize the soundblaster card. When I change the Audio Devices, Traktor plays the tracks just, when i set the Realtek device. As i select the Soundblaster Audigy it stops and wont react on klicking 'play' ...

does someone know what i do wrong? I tried every possibillity in the output routing...so i think...

Just bough my x-fi usb external card, today.....I have teh same issie...soundblaster works on normal windoes apps....SUddenly when I press play on traktor nothing happens.

I have teh audio 8, just bought this as an comlepent because it wasent so expensive.

Whats the issue, can someone help us.

When I swith back to my real tek card as teh forum poster...it works...so obeisly something aint right here with soundblaster...
