Traktor Pro with DJX900?

Hello everyone,

For Christmas i got the lovely Kontrol x1 and with it came traktor pro IN LOVE! I also got the behringer djx900usb mixer and i cant seem to get it working with traktor pro? Is it going to be able to work together or no? If so can someone help me get it set up? Thanks and hope everyone had an awesome holiday!

Does your PC/laptop recognise the DJX900? What is not working with TP? Does anything work at all with TP and the mixer?

 

my computer recognizes it and realizes it is on but in tp i cant seem to get the two channels working on the mixer. Both channels will only work on the first channel knobs and stuff. Crossfader wont work or anything. Im assuming i need to map it but i need assistance since im brand new to tp

no i was told i did not need one.

 

According to the specs of DJX900 it doesn't say it has a built in sound card.

I know you can use the mixer to control some functions of TP.

 

"Built-in USB interface for recording and playback of any digital music file. Works with your PC or Mac computer—no setup or drivers required" i thought that was a built in card

Nope that is not a sound card for TP. It has a USB interface so you can play digital tracks (MP3 etc.) but it's not a sound card. You need at least TA2 (Traktor Audio 2).

Totaly new to this dj-ing world!
I have the same problem. Pc does not recognise my DJX900. An how do i know it will recognise the DJX?
Spend 11 hours last night trying to get the traktor scratch pro 2 v2.6 to work with DJX. No Luck. Same thing with the TSI files. Hear a lot bout it but where to be exact and which one i would need to get is........?
I could not find any mapping for the DJX. I know now that i need speakers hooked up to the back. I thought the speakers that are hooked up to pc were good enough. And do i really need the traktor audio2? The reason i ask so many here on this post, cause this is the only one i could find that matches my questions. Many forums but not lot info on DJX.

Really hope someone can help me and take his time to explain all of this.
The only thing i really want is using my DJX with traktor scratch pro 2 v2.6.
PC: dualcore 2.79 memory 2GB
Grade by Micro for the pc is 4.5

 

Like I said you will need TA2 to use TP2/TSP2 with your mixer. Don't really know much about the DJX900 so can't help you any further.

 

If that can help me mix my own sound, happy. The mapping is then next subject. Thanks for reply Shadow.

 

YOu can only use the USB for recording. Playback is only good for one channel. It doesnot have a built in audio interface.
